Since we're on the topic of of creating pretty organization, I have to share this post from a field journal on her plan for creating a craft closet.
Isn't this completely delicious? Her lovely renderings are frame worthy.
When designing her craft station, I love how she creatively worked with the limited space she had and openly stored the practical items she needed, versus hiding them in hard to reach boxes. The hanging scissors and spools in frames are like little pieces of art!
You can see her beautiful end result right here.
Simply spectacular!

ey are beautiful and worth of framing! I’ve wanted to ask if you have hAve pics of your entire house anywhere on your blog? I love your design style and we live on the coast too (Savannah), so I’d love to get more inspiration from the rest of your spaces. Am loving the cheetah print in your laundry…..espescially b/ it’s blue!!!!
oh my gosh! so creative and beautiful.
You are not kidding – the drawings are terrific and the end product is amazing! Thanks for the heads up! Marija
The sketches as with your blog pages are art.
Oh wow. Totally blown away. I’m doing a series on organizing right now…but I do not have anything is gorgeous as this in it. Inspired.
oh my! I LOVE it!! We have an itty bitty walk-in closet in our bedroom that looks like it’s the same size/layout as that one…and I’ve been needing to re-organize my sewing station in the living room. Now I want to find a place for all of our clothes so I can finally have a “sewing room”! Thanks for the inspiration :)
This is a great use of a small closet and would help in my on-going argument w/ the hubby that I need an entire room for all my “stuff.” (That’s not what he calls it…I could compromise with this…Thanks for sharing!
I love sketches like that! Fun and inspirational!
