like + ikea = likea

Iklive1

Lately I've been likin' ikea.  So my new word is likea.  Maybe they will compensate me for having invented a snappy marketing term for them?  I'd gladly accept the highly desirable expedit as part of the fee.

Propelling me into more ikea love is their other site, ikea family live.  It's a website sharing design ideas and pictures of homes from all around the world – each decked out in their best ikea.  It's a must see. My mod friend, simply grove, got me hooked on it.  I love that it's so international and actually shares REAL people's homes!

I likea very much! You are quite clever….and I think that might just need to be their new marketing campaign.
Pop over today to see the fun party I had with Eddie and Jaithan!

I was at ikea yesterday! I bought the large expedit with attached desk in white a few months back for my office. Organized it with some of their white magazine holders and shwanky white boxes. Then I saw it on a blog with baskets that fit so nicely, so I had to go get me some! It hides paperwork/bills/magazines and crap I don’t know what to do with very neatly. Thinking of labeling the baskets with little hanging chalk labels. I am beyond tickled with the whole look for an amazingly affordable price. Getting one in black for the basement family/rec room too. Hoping to hide the x-box ,playstation, pool table balls, dvd’s, and everything else that goes along with having five boys~

I lokea! :) Unfortunately our closet Ikea is 6 hours away. When asked what I wanted to do for our babymoon this summer I quickly told my husband, “Go to Ikea!” So, we’re headed to Minneapolis in two weeks. I can’t wait to get lost there all day!

I likea! Too bad I’m at least 600 miles away from the nearest store. At least I have the internet/catalogs to drool over. I plan on making a trip to the closest one sometime before fall.

  9. I do like Ikea, although I do loose most sanity while being it it…and I would like it a lot more if they shipped all of the items they sell. Right now the have such fun glasses, lanterns, and linens that would be perfect for our cabin that is far afar away and not remotely close to an Ikea.

I love Ikea, as you know. Everything I buy from there is meant to be disposable, but darn it if the piece doesn’t last and last and last. I’m close to getting some slipcovered sofas from there. The thought of being able to toss those covers in the wash with bleach is almost irresistible.

I likia alot and since it’s down the street from me, I tend to pop in ‘just to look’ quite often. In fact, I’m a little obsessed with their $1 white pots and sheepskin rugs!

Me likey “Likea.” I cruise around it at least once a month. I always come home with some sort of object that gets a coat of spray paint, a cute little vase or jar. Fun and affordable pick me ups, abound!

I like Ikea so much I am considering replacing my kitchen cabinets with some Ikea ones. I have seen them used numerous times, often painted a color. I need to do a budget makeover so that is what I am considering.

Very clever! Love it. I’ve been more attracted to Ikea stuff lately, as well. I just have bad memories from college trying to put all that stuff together. Mabye it’s easier now…

Spent the afternoon at the Atlanta store with my kids. I almost consider the store kid entertainment! Found the as is section today and got some great deals. Loaded my mattress into my suv and prayed I would not need to see out the back on the 400 during rush hour. I adore the casual, fun, and quirky shopping experience.

My girls and I call it “scouting trips” when we go to Ikea to see what we can see. I have my wishlist with lots of fab items…will buy them as I go puttin’ the whole shebang together. I’m likin’ “Likea” and I definitely think you should be compensated handsomely ;)
The Ikea family site is a new love for me—my motto is “In search of an UnOrdinary Life” and so many of these fab people are living just that. So lovely.
    Have a great week–

Likea it is. Likea the white deliciousness photo. Have you seen the Ikea iPhone app? The iPhone catalogue app looks cool. Love how it’s so easy to flip through, just picture sitting at a coffee shop and browsing the catalog. Not just that, there’s details in the zoom in which helps you pick your favorite pieces.
