Brentwood Regency Estate entry

Oh hello there, lova'…you fabulously yummy house.  I should at least play a little hard to get but this one had me at the black and white tiled foyer.

Would it be weird if I told you I want to throw myself across that island to soak up all of its carrara goodness?  Hmmm, I'm pretty sure it would.  So I won't say that.  But I will say that this fresh palette with consistent classic finishes and plenty of natural light makes me feel happy.  And slightly obsessed.

This home makes me want to throw on a set of pearls, pour a bellini martini and plan a fabulous pool party.

The whole house is cozy yet oozes elegance, all without being too stuffy.  Not an easy look to master.

Yet another bathroom that I would consider hiding in just to stare at the wallpaper.

Brentwood Regency State

Here's a hallway so wonderful that a kid could ride his bigwheel across these rugs and it would still look cool.

I think it's safe to say that Elizabeth Dinkel outdid herself on the design of this house.  You can see more right here.

What’s not to like? Updated, yet traditional. Fresh colors without being garish.

Love each one of these – the last is my favorite. And that first one, I just saw it in a lighting book with a different chandelier. Looked even better if you could believe it!

Is that not the happiest kitchen you’ve ever witnessed?! Makes me want to paint everything canary yellow (considering it’s 39 degrees and RAINING in the NW…boohoo)…
take me to South Beach, please.

Oh wow, what a beautiful home! And you’re right that it is difficult to achieve cozy elegance…not too basic, not too stuffy. But when the two are combined…wow! I really love the house! Thank you for sharing!

Oh My!! When can I move in?!! Love it all. I have the black and white marble floor in my guest bath but that is where the similarities end. I don’t see anything wrong with throwing yourself on top of carrera countertops, it sounds perfectly normal to me. I finallllly finished my front porch re-do. I know how you love stripes so if you would like a dose of black and white come on by!! Kathysue.
PS I love, love the trellis wallpaper,no my wheels are turning, entry or guest bath, Hmmmm????
