seeing spots

Thank you for the amazing emails and comments in my previous post – loved connecting with so many fellow equestrians.  Speaking of horses, I am in love with this spotty horse I saw over here.  In all my years of riding, I’ve never seen such unusual and glorious markings on an Appaloosa!

This exotic equine is a close match to one of my very favorite fabrics, Les Touches by Brunschwig & Fils.  I’ve had the cutting sitting on the shelf in my office shelf foreva!

I love the edgy quality this pattern offers.  And it feels so timeless…without the boring factor.  Jenny at Little Green Notebook did a great post comparing B & Fils Les Touches with a few other affordable options that also look great but don’t break the bank. Check it out here.

If you love Les Touches but the price is too hefty for your pocketbook, you can still easily swing it by doing something creative like this.

Shannon over at Designer’s Attic recently sold some remnant Les Touches over here.  Maybe she’ll have more soon!  This perfectly poised chaise she pictured in her post makes me want to swipe my credit card and order 7 yards of B & Fils this very second.

And i suwanee blogged about her fab new spotty sofa.  Lovvvvvvvve. Check it out here.

How do you feel about seeing spots in your life?

I adore that chaise! I’ve got just the spot for it but not sure my budget does. The horse is beautiful, too. Enjoy your riding, Seleta.

  6. Seeing spots and loving it! I love this fabric in big swatches or just a little in the frame.

Could you send me the specs on the Appaloosa fabric, and if you think it would work on a couple of Louis armchairs? Thanks!
