wednesday white

W hite is very powerful in the sense that it has versatility in working with most any setting.  Today we honor neutral whites delightfully mixed with chocolates and touches of black.  This combination can be rustic…

Eclectic.

Chic.

Sassy.

Just plain lust worthy.

Or even captivating in a child’s room.  This guy seems pretty happy with his cool digs.  Oh, those soft grey horizontal stripes…

LOVE them all, but the ‘Eclectic’ space is perfection in my eyes!

I love chocolate brown and white together. I’m ready to move in to that “lust worthy” space. Heavenly!

Fabulous spaces! I wish I could take a long bath in that gorgeous claw-foot bathtub. Then go pick out a cute outfit in that closet!

We are remodeling three bathrooms and a kitchen in our new townhouse, and we are going with white cabinets and carrara marble. That’s lots of white, and we will add color through paints and accessories. I think ou would like them.

Your baby’s photo is in Woman’s Day?! I was on their website checking out Eddie Ross’s recent post on framing pictures and there was a picture with your youngest daughter and your cat?! I’m almost positive it was. Check out the link at http://www.womansday.com/Articles/Shelter/Decorating/5-Charming-Photo-Frame-Ideas.html

Seleta, I have been meaning to comment….I am so happy for you that you are riding again! I have ridden horses since I was 10. Used to compete in 3 day eventing. I still have my first horse, Duke. He is 28 in March! Also, have Abraham, who is 21 in May! Needless to say, I LOVE horses, and do know how great they are for the soul. Next, I LOVE LOVE the post on the spotted fabric. I saw it on my phone, and told my husband that’s what I want in my home office! {I also had a Dalmatian growing up!} Happy New Year!

I love them all! My absolute favorite is sassy. I adore an extra large drum shade paired with rustic peices, like the bench behind the settee. Very chic!

Sometimes you see pictures on a blog that just make me “sweat”….these were great :) I have never seen any of those floating around and they are all my style. Thanks for sharing! Lucky you for living in Florida…Atlanta has been under the weather so to speak all week :)

Love the little boys room. I have two daughters and then I got the boy… and I don’t know how to do his room… and I am just loving the color and strips. What do you think the color of the strips are? That color is so hard to great right…help?
