have to laugh because it just dawned on me that I tend to post peaceful bathroom scenes when I’m feeling overcommitted and limited on time. Maybe it’s my subconscious longing for a break? Right now my life is swimming in a sea of deadlines, sports practices, dance classes, school homework and never ending grocery lists. Maybe you’re feeling the same way. I like to remind myself “deep breath in, deep breath out.”
Speaking of relaxing, I adore this botanical plants series. Nothing seems to calm the nerves quite like being around nature or even seeing nature beautifully arranged in everyday life. The rhythm of a simple botanical series calms the nerves. I actually feel relaxed when I look at this.

If you love the harmonious aesthetic of a botanical series, but have a limited budget, try these 10 minute DIY botanicals created by talented friend and Interior Designer Lauren of Pure Style Home. I think they are positively charming.
I’ve linked to this project before in another botanical post over here, but can’t resist sharing again as we dive into a beautiful spring. Check out her finished garden shed or as she calls it the “Fun Shed” that displays her own DIY botanical series right here. That is her oldest peanut playing in his new space.
