orgot to mention in my recent shoe post that my new favorite toenail polish is Baby’s Breath by Essie. Love. It’s the perfect shade of ballerina pink with none of those funky blue undertones you see in some of the pale pinks. It’s nice and opaque and looks amazing with any skin tone. It just says summer.
Much like this airy and fresh townhouse sketch by Caitlyn McGauley. Don’t you love that dash of lilac wash on the middle? So dreamy.
Speaking of dreamy play houses, Pom Pom is channeling his inner-diva in our Barbie camper. Some of you have asked about him lately, so I thought you’d enjoy seeing a shot of his last play session. He takes his job quite seriously. You may remember a few of his other hilarious”baby doll” sessions here and here.

I have that Essie shade too! Use it for my fingernails – with toenails I am more daring and used shocking pink this time. It looks like Pom Pom is all set in her barbie-mobil .
Both look adorable!
Love the photo of your adorable daughter and kitty in the Barbie camper. Growing up we had a siamese kitty, Ming, who always cooperated with our playing. It brings back wonderful memories. I like soft shades for summer nails, too. Summer vacation is in 1 more day!
I would say “poor kitty” but I know he is delighted. I used to dress up my cat and feed him from a baby bottle when I was her age– there is no sweeter thing than a little girl and her precious pet!
What a precious, precious cat! He is amazing the way he lets your daughter play with him. It is a win-win for both!!!
I normally use bright colors on my toes but last time I used a nude shade and love it- I will have to try pale pink next!
I use a very similar color on my toes, my salon has their own line of polish and it stays on forever. I wear that color all year long. It looks good on fingers too! Glad to hear Pom Pom is well. He is the most patient cat!
Thanks for the tip. I like the baby’s breath – soft and classic! I’ve been into lilac all spring, but look forward to seeing the “in” color in the Hamptons this summer. Think it’ll still be yuck brown (mink muffs)? Although, it Does look good with sandals!
Oh, and God Bless Pom Pom! What a trooper.
I would say that shade of Barbie camper pink suits Pom Pom. She is such a patient cat! What a sweetie. I have a ragdoll cat and she is pretty tolerant as well to whatever we may do with her. Your daughter is adorable, Seleta. I’ll have to try that Baby’s Breath polish. It looks like a lovely shade.
pom pom!!! ADORABLE! its always important to take little barbie roadtrip every once in a while :)
Love Baby’s Breath…last year I tied a little actual baby’s breath to Essie’s version with a beautiful ribbon to create lovely baby shower treats! Love you beautiful daughter and the kitty…so sweet!
Happy Memorial Day! xo
