checking in

These two crazies took their four wildcats on a seven hour whirlwind road trip.

And I have to say it was one of the funnest family trips we’ve had yet.  The kids had a blast, we had a blast.  It’s always nice when both offspring and parental units equally enjoy a weekend.

The wedding was jaw dropping gorgeous, cool and just plain fun.  Our cousin Erin, the blushing bride, was the perfect picture of grace and beauty.  And let me tell you, that girl has got some style.  I won’t say too much yet, but imagine an Anthropologie photo shoot with gourmet food stations in every corner and that was her reception.  Get ready for a post filled with mass quantities of pictures because I went nuts. That is if I can find the strength to blog – still beat from all of our late nights. Here’s a sneak peek at some of Erin’s flowers the day after.  Cabbage roses!

Right now the kids are playing, Peter is still working and I am taking a break to sip a hot cup of delicious mangosteen green tea with a new magazine that just came in.  Yes, it’s a steamy 90 degrees outside and I still drink hot tea.  I’m freakish like that.

I may take off a day or two to recoup.  Back soon with lots of wedding pics!
