I frequently get asked “what kind of camera do you use?” I tend to shy to away from answering because I’m not the least bit qualified to discuss photography on any level. But I will tell you I use a Canon Rebel. I don’t have photoshop or any fancy program like that. I just bite my lip, hope for the best, then point and shoot. Someday when I have more time I’ll study up on how to properly shoot.
Meanwhile, you may be wondering where I’ve been. Sorry for my lack of posts, but we’ve been playing with our family who’s here from Colorado. We’ve been on horses, skim boards, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, you name it. Our kids are so happy when we’re all together and I love having Peter’s sister here to pal around with – she’s one of my favorite peeps. That’s her on the far left. We’re both families of six – two kids and a husband are missing in this shot.
You may notice the water appears unusually yellow in the shallow end, it’s the seaweed that pops in from time to time. Feels like little cotton balls brushing up against you when you swim.
We’ll probably cry when our cousins leave, but we’re definitely soaking up every minute while we’ve got em.

I saw that strap yesterday and thought I must buy it then I remembered I have a little point and shoot.
I love your pictures but as I was looking I started laughing because on my computer screen it looks like a few had a bit of a mishap and turned the water around them a funny color. MB

are you sure that the water is that color from the seaweed? I thought it was perhaps “mountain dew”- lots of friends rave about that camera!
