As I pack up and drive our crew back to the beach, I have some delicious white for you to enjoy. This Connecticut seaside home, fresh from New England Home magazine, was designed and built a mere six years ago by owners Louise and Ned Brooks. Louise, founder of the amazing architectural firm, Brooks and Falotico, says she is a traditionalist at heart. It’s more than apparent as you look at every detail of their home.
The gambrel rooflines stopped my heart.
If you look once more at the photo above, you’ll see the shutters of the window have cutouts in the shape of scallops, which is the Brooks family crest. Love that!
This glossy white mini subway tile and built in plate rack is so perfect I want to scream.
Read all about the interesting details of the Brooks’ home and see more jaw-dropping photos over here.

Love this house!!!! Louise Brooks has built many many homes in my parents town. This one is in Rowayton, just a couple of towns over. Beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing, but you made me homesick for Connecticut! Haha
