When I think of summer, I think of yellow.
And when I think of yellow, I think of how each of our children could never quite pronounce “yellow” in a regular way. It always came out “lello”. Our oldest said “lell-doh” until he was about six. Here is the brood much younger.

And when I think of our children, I think of straws and fun stripes…
Which then makes me think of fabulous zig zaggy DIY party favors…
And chic duds with chunky baubles and layers of yellow…
Which leads to thoughts of stylish interior details for a party. Like this yummy chair Tracery reupholstered in the spring. I love it when they shoot their lovelies in the green grass. Hello yellow.

Yes, yellow is a color everyone can wear – it looks most adorable on (your) kids,
and it brings cheer to the home as well. I bought a yellow dress and a yellow skirt this
summer and love it…..I even might wear it in winter too! Well, winter in southern
California is a bit overrated :-)
