game days

Football season is has arrived!  Time for cozy cardigans, chilly nights and tailgating.  This means upcoming road trips to Georgia Tech games for our family.

Allow me to present our game timeline for the last six years.

2005.  Only three kids.  Number four was due in two weeks.   I remember waddling everywhere we walked.

2006.  Full house.  Youngest’s first football game!

2007.  Moved to the beach.  We were too enamored with our new coastal surroundings to pack up and drive to a game.

2008.  Back to our travel routine.  This game was a blast!

2009.  Wow.  Did we really drive 350 miles with four kids and a PUPPY to a game?   Obviously we were crazy.  It was bone-chilling cold that day.

2010.  The Disney World trip killed any remaining parental stamina for football roadtrips, ha ha.

2011….game ready!!

While prepping for our upcoming football season trips, I stumbled upon these adorable game day stickers.

I ordered a set for our littlest yellow jacket.  They’re super cute!

WHAT ARE THESE?

“Game-day Identification Stickers” from Pervenche Press in Atlanta.  It’s a customized sticker to help keep your tot a wee bit safer this football season.  It’s not likely any of us will lose our child, but it’s very nice to have extra assurance in case little feet wonder away in a big crowdit can happen in a flash!  Place the sticker on your child’s back to ensure it says on.  A set of 24 stickers is $22.00 now through September 30th.  Pervenche Press will customize the colors of the sticker to your team’s colors…the font and wording is customizable as well.

To order a set, shoot an email to Sheri over at info@pervenchepress.com

IF YOU’RE LOCAL…

you can order stickers over at Sweet Bay Prints.  Owner Kristen would be happy to help you create a personalized set.  You can email her at hello@sweetbayprints.com or call at 850-267-1000.

Your walk down memory lane was familiar to me. Every year when we attend Packer games I snap shots of my husband walking with our three sons. I usually see a stair step of heights, but this year oldest was suddenly nearly as tall as Dad, while the younger two stayed little. It was Bizarre! Amazing what a difference a year can make in our children. These snapshots of their lives remind us to enjoy every day, don’t you think?

My brother graduated from GA Tech, so he is a huge fan! However, my husband roots for the dawgs. So sorry. I know you’ll now have to delete my comment for that ! Ha! Once football season starts, you know Fall is in the air and the holidays are just around the corner. It’s an exciting time. Looks like you and your family make a fun day of it when ya’ll go to the games. It’s neat to see the progression of your family over the years at the games.
