I just wanted to thank you for sharing a little bit of your heart in last week’s post. Each comment moved me and some even brought me to tears. I thought long and hard about these shared thoughts over the weekend.
It’s interesting how we can see something and have no idea what is behind the surface until we take the time to look a little further.
Life is so much more than zooming past each other and smiling and just saying hello. Don’t you think? I like being able to stop and connect beyond hello.
This is an interesting, exhilarating and thought-provoking journey we are all on. From one day to the next we are offered curious moments, celebratory moments, roller coaster moments…and sometimes moments where we need to stop and just breathe.
Thank you for sharing a snippet of your life. These kind of posts are definitely my favorite.
Prayers and hugs.

Totally agree! I thought long and hard about some of the comments over the weekend as well. My comment was that I was happy it was Friday, which was completely true. However, I could totally relate to some of the other sad, honest comments about how people were really feeling or what they were currently having to deal with. I wish I were as brave as some of them to be so honest and open. I guess it just emphasizes the point that we’re all fighting our own battles, so it’s important to recognize that in each other and treat each other well.
I tell myself often to take “deep cleansing breaths” which really helps me to realize that life is short and we have so much to celebrate.
I am so appreciative for you. You add such beauty to my journey here in and out of blog land.

It always amazes me when I read a long list such as the other day and see the sheer angst and job that exist at the same time with that one thing in common…this time your site. All the more reason to walk with a smile on your face for everyone. It is nothing but good and one person may need just that.
joy! that should be joy not job…
I always relax a little more when I come to your slice of heaven blog…thought provoking and beautiful, as always ~
This is so true. Some times we get so caught up in the everyday tasks that we lose our perspective and appreciation for the small wonders and blessing each day. Thanks for encouraging us to take a moment to reflect.
