marvelous monday giveaway!

How about an awesome giveaway to start your week?  If you’re like me, you could use a break from all the running around and holiday madness.  This one’s a whopper!  Remember my sassy lime green stool next to my Sea Coral chair?  It’s called the hourglass stool from Bungalow 5.  And it makes me happy.  I’ve used it in countless spots in our home.  Here it is snuggled up next to one of my favorite chairs…

hourglass stool

Today we’re spreading a little happiness.  Bungalow 5 is giving away a $325 lime green hourglass stool to one lucky winner!!  I’ve owned this piece for five years and have never tired of it.  It’s well-crafted, perfectly mod and adds an element of quirky fun into any space.  Plus it’s indestructible.  Just ask my kids.

bungalow5

It’s funny, I bought this adorable little stool thinking it would be a perfect spot for a small stack of books and cute little figurine atop.  But it’s lived a contrasting life of adventure in our home.  And still looks amazing!  Our children have used the hourglass stool for the following:  arena for Bryers horses,  ski chalet for Barbie and friends, homework spot, tea party station, hot chocolate stand, divider between pillow playhouses, a “time out” spot for Pom Pom (didn’t work out so well), cash register stand for playing store, shelter from nerf gun fights and much much more.

ABOUT THE STOOL & BUNGALOW 5:

The hourglass stool comes in seven other fabulous colors which you can see right here.  They are available for purchase over here. There are many other crazy awesome pieces at Bungalow 5 you might want to check out including furniture, wall decor, lighting and other home accessories.  I’m obsessed with this deskthese chairs, and this studly number.

HOW TO ENTER:

Simple.  Just tell us where you would like to place this stool in your home.  And if there are any colorful characters (including fur babies and/or husbands, ha ha) in your home who would probably use it in their own way?  Do share!

Winner will be announced on Friday.  Big thanks to Bungalow 5 for such a great giveaway!

Ho Ho ho : )

This looks like a fun little guy that could float around the house daily with new adventures. For now? This looks like a fine plant stand to me nestled right in the corner of my kitchen under my chalkboard :)

  3. I have the perfect spot between two slipcovered chairs in our living room. Not only would I love it, but my kids would use it as a “stepping stone” when they jump from chair to chair :(

  4. Ginger Levick says:

I would redecorate a room just to use it.

  5. Brittany says:

I Love this piece. The color is great with all my nautical decorating. I would probably move it around depending on my mood and time of year. I could see it as a landing spot for mail, etc when I walk in the door! PICK ME PLEASE!

  6. carlee says:

It would replace a side table that I despise. I know it would work perfectly with the room. As far as my fiance goes, this would be another spot for him to leave kiss foil wrappers this holiday season :)

  7. Erin says:

I would use it in my daughters nursery as a place to rest her books. She is ten months old and just discovered books so we go through ten or more during the average day.

  8. Nicole says:

I would love to put that in my room near my reading chair! I have been looking for a quirky piece to put my books and coasters on, and this would fit there perfectly! Although my cat would probably end up using it as her own perching spot rather than what I intend it for.. but thats ok, she’s a princess! Also, I love all of the colors! Besides the green, I especially love the mahogany and the blue!

  9. Julie says:

this would be perfect for my no kids allowed mom room, next to my white slipcovered chair, i could place my cup of tea and read my favorite blogs!!!!

  10. Alisa D says:

This stool is just about EXACTLY what I have been looking for! I need a small table/stool for our family room to go next to the chair in the corner… kind of a little reading nook. The colors are gorgeous. I am going to be crossing my fingers all week! Oh, and yes, if it finds its way into our home, I am certain my 2 year old daughter would use it for a toy table from time to time or maybe to stack some of her many, many books.

  11. Jenni says:

This piece is too cute! I would use it in my favorite reading nook beside my linen covered reading chair. I t probably would get used as a back rest for the little Maltese pup who sleeps beside me as I read:) Thanks for the great giveaway!

  12. Shauna says:

I love this!! I need something just like this for our mudroom we are trying to complete before Christmas (first piece of drywall just went up last night!). I was trying to think of something we could use beside the door for keys and empyting pockets!! Now the hard part would be picking a colour! :)

  13. Katie Kitchen says:

This is so perfect!!! This would finish off my newly redone den, and could be used by my daughter in SO MANY different ways!!! Ho ho ho for sure!!

  14. Hilary says:

My husband and I currently live in a basement apartment with not nearly enough room for all of our stuff, but we are graduating in April (!) and will finally be able to move into a place of our own and I think this beauty would look perfect next to our sofa.!

  15. Stephanie says:

WOW! What an amazing giveaway!! I so hope I get this. My 9 year old would love this in her bedroom. I am hoping to surprise her in the new year with a bedroom makeover! Of course, this little gem is so fabulous I think it would work almost anywhere in my house.

  16. Christine says:

I would love to have this in my living room . I already have a drum table as an end table beside the sofa. It would be perfect across the room beside a chair. It mimics the shape of the drum table without being matchy matchy. My toddler would probably roll it on it’s side and push it all over the room! That would keep him busy…and happy. :)

  17. Margo says:

I am in LOVE with this stool! I will place it in my living room for a fun pop of color. Makes me happy just thinking about it. My fur-baby Sam (chocolate lab) will love it also, perfect height for him to clean off any snack crumbs left behind by my children. LOL Thanks for sharing such a generous giveaway.

  20. Lori H says:

What a perfect table! I looked at all the colors, and I could use most of them :) The orange in our rec room, the green in my sunroom, the red or black in the TV room, the blue in my bedroom, the white…anywhere!

  21. Kristinabeachmamato2 says:

I have been going back and forth about needing a poof, a side table or some other stylish something that won’t blow the bank for our playroom. My husband and I designed a daybed out of old corbels, a footboard , a crib mattress and crib springs for this area of family use, but our playroom still needs the right pop to make this area sing for everyone in my family. This stool is perfect for the kiddos, practical for the husband and the wow factor that I have been craving.

  22. MiMi says:

Would probably want the blue or yellow and use it beside a Smith Antique find of a Lee chair in a tiny green check. The chair is so comfy and needs an accent, this would be perfect!

  23. Jean A says:

I would use the stool in my daughter’s room for sitting, as a side table or for climbing to reach her books on the shelves. I will also use it in my living room as a cute side table!

  24. sydney85 says:

We have a patio next to the kitchen. We had it enclosed with lots of windows. When my daughter was young it was her room with a large table and chairs that matched our kitchen set. She would have craft days, baking days and tea parties in this room. Years later it became her air hockey table room. Today it is my reading room where I have a comfortable chair to read to my heart’s delight and a small desk and chair where I have my computer to catch up on reading blogs. This stool would be great next to my chair to be able to place a cup of tea and a snack to take my reading to a higher level.

  25. Elizabeth says:

Wow! I’d love this to go metween two vintage slipper chairs that are at the upholsterer’s right now. I’m trying to make some small updates to my vintage living room furniture by updating some end tables and adding a few pieces of modern art.

  26. CarolineH says:

Oh! I would use this as my nightstand. It would be the perfect splash of color! And no children, husbands or fur babies to fight me for it!

  27. Laura says:

This would definitely be going in my downstairs living room – it’s the perfect pop of color and we desperately need more space to set things on. No children yet and the hubs is pretty “nice” to things, but it’s always good to have pieces you don’t have to worry about getting ruined!

  28. Linda Garavalia says:

This would be perfect for my newly finished lower level family room. We just ordered a chocolate brown sectional, I let my teenage daughter choose the color and fabric. This table would be exactly what’s needed to inject some color! I want to the room to feel comfortable and warm – and stylish, a place where my daughter and her friends will want to hang out!

What a darling table! It would be perfect next to my favorite living room chair, but I am sure it would slowly make its way around the house!

  32. Steph says:

That is a great piece! I would probably place it an the end of my sofa, where a little something is needed for someone to place a drink! But, as easy as it would be to move around, I can see it in many different places!

  33. Rankin says:

this would be great to brighten up the corner of our family room

  34. Jennifer g. says:

I would love to use this in my mom’s home. I am decorating her living room as a Christmas gift. Since green is her favorite color , this would be perfect.

This would be perfect in our office….we desperately need some color in there and this would be just right. Thanks for the chance to win!

  37. kerry says:

It would go next to my sofa. The stool would really pull out the green in the Celerie Kemble Hot House fabric pillows on the sofa.

  38. Deb says:

Ooh – we have been looking for a round table to place between two new-t0-us Crate and Barrel chairs that we picked up off of Craig’s list. We placed them in front of the window, and I know our dog would love to have something to drool on and/or climb up.

  39. Susan says:

Oh I would love that. We’re rearranging our bedroom and it would be perfect next to a comfy chair (or for my daughter’s Zulu pets.

I can see everyone wanting to use it for one thing or another (in my family).

  43. Jenna says:

I would love the green (or the light blue) for my son’s room. He is about to turn one at the new year and we need a “big boy” table to use beside the glider chair in his nursery. This would be a fun addition and would work great in that space! Thanks!

  44. sarah says:

i would put this in the family room to start out….i’m actually working to change the space into a more cozy spot. my little guy would probably drive his cars all around it and of course under it. i could see him trying to back in there too himself (he backs under our chairs we have now!)

  45. Jana says:

There is a spot next to a chair near the fireplace that needs a little something-something. This would be a lovely addition…that is if I can keep my 14 year-old aspiring decorator daughter from nabbing it for her bedroom. It would look sweet in there as well.

  46. Katie says:

That color is perfect and would work great in my living room next to my rocking chair that is in need of a facelift!!! I bet at any given time it would hold (but not limited too) a laptop, dinner plates, juice, bottle or wine glass, singing dancing snowcheerleader (a holiday favorite in our house), books, remotes and a stray kitty from my oldest vet barbie set.

  47. Julie says:

What a lovely giveaway! I would put this little beauty in my new Brooklyn apartment in our living room that is deep tealy green and lilac. I think it would be the perfect bright accent table with our color scheme. Pretty sure our little tonkinese kittens, Laser and Lucy would perch here, but I’d like to put a few mags and my coffee on this little green guy.

  48. Anna says:

So much fun! As soon as I saw this quirky piece I knew exactly how I would use it. At the end of each day, my three year old daughter and I have a quiet time, just the two of us. We drink tea (hers is 99% milk!) and she opens up her “love letter” from me. Each day I write something on a heart shaped note. It usually consists of something good I saw her do or a sweet poem. I think this little piece would be a perfect addition for our nightly ritual:)

  49. Kathy says:

I would just love to put it by my new slipcovered chair in the living room. It would be perfect!

  50. Liza says:

Are you kidding?! That little table would look great in any of the rooms in our temp condo unit. The fact that it works well with a child’s imagination is a plus. The second I saw it I placed it in between my director’s chairs that sit in the living area, which also double as additional dining chairs. As far as the kids…I’d leave it to them. It would be so much fun to see what the girls come up with.

  51. Annemarie says:

What a gorgeous giveaway, Seleta! I would love to use this in our guest bedroom as book stand/side table in our reading nook. I love this color green, too. xo

  52. Allison I says:

This stool would unfortunately be the perfect accessory to my almost 1 year olds new found love of trying to walk from furniture piece to furniture piece! Once she’s good on her own two feet though, this would be a wonderful addition to our master bedroom.

  53. StephMier says:

In our new basement we are finishing as we speak!

  54. Melissa says:

I would probably use this next to my sofa. It’s so pretty! Thanks for the giveaway!

  55. Elizabeth says:

    Good morning from L.A.!

What a fabulous giveaway. I’d put this pretty (indestructable) piece between our linen chairs in the living room. It’s right in front of the fire place and would be such a lovely shot of color. Of course, I doubt it would last there very long. My son, the scallywag, would use it to climb on everything. Because that’s what scallywags do.

A lovely Monday to you and yours…

    Elizabeth

  57. Natalie says:

I would place is next to my orange and white chair in the living room where the dogs, Outlaw and Daphne, and I like to sit and watch the ducks and egrets on the water out back. This is the perfect color to go with our coastal themed home in Charleston, SC. Indestructable is always a plus!

  58. Kristen Fritz says:

I would put it on our little den/playroom/tv room/ do EVERYTHING in room:) I am sure my daughters would use it as a mini fort for their dolls…just thrown a sheet over it and they could make a little doll fort:) I LOVE IT…and hope I can get this for Christmas. 61. j says:

    Wowza!
Fabulous give away~ Didn’t see this one coming. My fingers are crossed for this one……
I would use it next to my couch in my family room as a side table, or next to my leather chair. I can totally see me placing my coffee on that table ( with a coaster of course). Wait, maybe I will use it in my son’s bedroom next to his bed, or in the front hall with a beautiful vase of fresh flowers. So…. many different options with this one! Thanks for the great giveaway Seleta!

  66. Heather J says:

I’ve been wanting to add a pop of color to my living room and this would certainly do it. I think my littles would probably use it more for play than I’d use it. It’d be a great stage (or house, or cave, or..) for all the little people toys they’re obsessed with. So fun!

  67. Lauren says:

I would love to put this in my bedroom, maybe add a couple of my favorite books to it. Would be super cute

  69. Raylan says:

I’m in the process of turning my breakfast nook into my personal “girl space”/reading nook. This would be PERFECT in beside my new chair. I’ve been on the hunt for a round side table. This green matches the drapes, so it must be fate!!

It would go in my reading nook next to my chair … my step-daughter will want to ‘steal’ it tho, hehe

  74. Leanne says:

It would add a lovely colour pop to my lounge room next to my couch. coffee, tea or lemonade

I have been trying to find the perfect item that would be multi use. I think it would be a great end table for her or just another place for one of her friends to sit when they are talking or getting ready to go out. Her room colors are lime green and turquoise. It would be a great addition to a teenage room.

  90. patsy hinson says:

definitely in my awkwardly shaped den.

What a great piece! I’d love it the fun bright lime. It would be wonderful in my guest room as a night table for books and a bottle of water for our guests. I have a feeling it would be used by our sweet girl, Annika, (she looks like she could be Pom Pom’s sister) as her throne! My new dining room is teal and Apple Green, the stool/table will look fabulous next to the window. I am watching my favorite Christmas movie, White Christmas and this new piece will become a new Favorite, taking the place of the Christmas tree!

  119. Leigh says:

I would use the table in one of three places: at the end of my children’s sofa in their playroom, at the end of a club chair in our master bedroom at the beach or in my daughter’s bedroom next to another club chair. yeah!

  120. Dana says:

This green stool makes me squeal with delight!! Hmmm, so many uses…for me to place my bedside tapioca, for husband to rest his remote, for my niece to perch and update her FB status and Mocha to snuggle beside and just look cuter than ever – our household will surely get much use out of this great piece!

  121. Jessica says:

Oh, wow! This is a marvelous giveaway! Love this piece! I would use it in my living room between two club chairs. I would put a lamp and some books on it, but my two year old would love to use it as a train station for choo choos or a spot to change her baby dolls! I would love to win!! Merry, merry!!

  122. This would be the perfect pop of color in my home office. I do marriage and parenting coaching and counseling and I need a table for a box of tissues and bottle of water for my clients. This happy green would add some cheer !!!

  123. Lee says:

I would definitely place it in my daughter’s bedroom. Last year we painted her room a soft blue, hung paper pom poms in various shades of orange from her ceiling, and added bits of orange here and there.

This would be a perfect addition!

  124. this would be perfect next to a lonely chair in our bedroom. and i’m pretty sure jay-z would use it for a new perching spot :)

  125. kayce hughes says:

I might put it next to my desk because I am always needing another place to stack stuff.

  126. Jennifer M. says:

Lime green is such a delicious color! I would use it either in the dining room or guest room as a small side table. Thankfully everyone in my house would leave the table alone but I do have two sweet nieces that may think otherwise.

  127. Kathryn says:

It is so cute! LOVE the color. I would put it next to the couch. My two little girls would probably put they little horses or pet shop toys all over it. It may even become the next barbie house! That is if they can claim it before Dixie, our cat! Maybe one day it would become mine – glad to hear it will last that long ;) Merry Christmas!

  128. Susan says:

This stool would look great next to my sun room reading chair. So fun! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

  129. Colleen B says:

I would love it next to the sectional I am hoping Santa will bring down the chimney for me as I can’t stand our current couch. If I haven’t been that “good” of a girl but I win the little table, it will serve as inspiration for the more ‘casual modern with sparkle’ look that I want in our living room. Thanks!

  130. Cindy says:

Really love this piece, I can see it almost anywhere. Timeless. That lime green is just perfect for this time of year, a round silver tray placed on top with some beautiful moss and a tiny live Christmas tree…Wow. A show stopper in any room!

  131. Laurie says:

I would love this little stool in my family room! The style is versatile and would go with whatever mood my room takes. Additionally, my kitty would hold court inside the stool, swiping at the doggy and generally declaring the space “hers”. All in good fun, though. We get so much entertainment out of our pets!

    Great giveaway!

    Laurie

  132. Tina says:

I’ve been wanting to create a reading nook for myself. It would be a cute spot to set my stack
of “wish to read” books. Thanks.

  133. Lizziefitz says:

This would be amazing in my my second daughter’s room. She is a musician and is always moving chairs and stools into / around her room. Friends , music sheets, groupies, guitar amps all need a place land. She has an upholstered Schumacher chevron headboard with lime green, blue and peacock that would look fabulous with the lime stool. Thanks for the chance:)

  134. Suzanne G. says:

I’d put it next to the wing chair which sits near my dining room bay window; however, I suspect my 10-year-old daughter would try to use it in her room. It’s her favorite color.

  135. Catherine M says:

Love this! I think I would have to put it in my sitting room… or maybe my daughter’s bedroom… or the living room!

This would add a perfect spot of color ( red) in living room, as a side table. Thank you for the give-away..it makes me smile!

  137. Barb says:

What a fantastic giveaway. This little glossy, green beauty would be lovely in my living room with a nice glass of Merlot sitting on it as I delve into my latest great read. Or maybe in my newly decorated guest room, next to the day bed with a carafe of water and some pretty fresh cut flowers in a milk glass vase. Or… my Golden Retriever, Lincoln would love to hide his multitudes of toys in it. ( Lincoln is not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree… he loves to try and “hide” toys in piles under tables!) It would be a great addition to any room! Thank you for a chance to wish for a win!

  138. Stephanie says:

LOVE! I just updated all of my Christmas decor to this limey green rather than the traditional green…..mixed with mercury glass and chocolate brown. I would love to add this to little gem between a pair of chairs in my den!! I can just imagine that one of my four would find their own creative uses for it as well! It would be a WIN, WIN for the whole family! Thanks!!

  139. Kristen says:

Hi Seleta! I just got married three weeks ago, and my sweet little hubby is such a big reader. It is the cutest thing. He loves to sit in our little mudroom, watch football, work on his computer, drink coffee, and read at the same time. Quite my little multi-tasker. Unfortunately, I do not have a side table or a coffee table in that tiny room, so he whips out his foldable, faux wood table. Oh my!!! This little table would be the perfect addition to our room. In with the new, out with the old!!!

  140. Katie says:

hmmmm, I could see this in our bedroom or the guest room. Such a great little table though!

  141. Sheila says:

  145. Leslie Russell says:

We are moving this Thursday and my almost 9 year is getting her own room. This would be the perfect addition to her blue room!!! Thanks so much–

  146. Kimberly says:

This lime green stool would just look so great in my familyroom!! I’ve been wanting a fun piece to tie in my lime green pillows and I’m certain my kiddos would think it’s just as “cool” as I do. I can see my 17 month old daughter dragging her little wooden chair over to it and using it to put her snack and sippy on, like her own personal table. :)

  147. caroline l says:

I would love to put it beside the chair in my living room!! On top I would stack several of my favorite books (e.g., domino the book of decorating) weighted with a mercury glass candle in my favorite scent (capri blue in volcano). The hourglass shape of the stool would provide a visual reminder for me to make “time” for inspirational things…and the items on top would be a must to prevent my Kersey cat from making it into personal perch!

  148. Angela says:

This table is fabulous! I love its lines and the fun colors! I would use it in my great room next to my navy blue velvet sofa. It would add a fun pop of color. I suspect my daughters would move it around often for different uses – stand for a cash register, snack table, game table…Happy Holidays!

  149. Lisa says:

This would be perfect in my family room….the room needs an update!

  150. Karen p says:

  152. Janice Collins says:

WOW, love this stool and it would be perfect in my dining room as a special plant stand, or extra seating, or ladder for the kids :-)… my grandchildren would fight over it, but they would have to compete with Batta, our Tibetan kitty. Love the design and the fabulous color.

  153. Susanna says:

I would love this! I have been looking for something a little mod with a pop of color to go next to a chair and ottoman in my living room. I am sure my kiddos would use it for barbies, tea parties, ninjago battles and legos. I think my husband would just like somewhere to put down a drink in this empty space.

  154. Susan says:

I have the PERFECT spot for this little jewel!!.. It would live beside our piano where I sit in a comfy chair to listen as our children practice their piano lessons. I am the “audience” and the stool would be for my cup of hot tea as I enjoy my children’s serenade!

This would be the perfect pop of color for our bedroom and the perfect nightstand too!

I can see this great piece making the rounds throughout my hose! It would be a great bedside table pulled up to the daybed when we have overnight guests. It would be great to hold my design books when I’m working on ideas for a client. It would be great to hold a glass of wine and my iPad with some soothing tunes playing after a long day! I think mostly, it would just making me smile when ever I see it!

  157. Erin says:

This will be the perfect side table next to my slip covered chair. It also looks like it will be a doggy “jail,” she always climbs into tight spaces she can’t seem to get out of by herself.

  158. Jennie says:

Oh, I have the perfect spot in my bedroom that needs this bright burst of color! Pure perfection…

  159. Sandra says:

It’s one of those pieces that can go in every room of my house!

  160. Laurie says:

Where wouldn’t I use it! I have a great spot for a pop of color in my family room.

  161. yolande says:

i looooooove this little stool and this give away! it would look fabulous in our bedroom or family room. if i win, i’ll have a hard time choosing a color!

  162. Melissa says:

Well, Merry Christmas! With all these fantastic giveaways… Wow! I love the lime green color too! I just moved my family room around and need something to go between to arm chairs! Would love that.
We have 3 kiddos… I can see this becoming a mod-loft for some Calico Critters (for my girls) or a cool parking garage for my boy’s matchbox cars! Ha!
Thank you for the opportunity to win. Also, I loved your post about the ‘horse-y birthday party’. So fun to see how you did it and enjoy the celebration from afar!

  163. Colleen Daiger says:

I love that stool! I also love it in the blue color. I could use it in so many places in my house. My boys would jump off of it, run around it, use it as home base and probably curl it like are barbell! A table the whole family can enjoy :-)

  164. Alana says:

I would choose thebyellow version of
this. I am really into yellow right now.
I am sure my three little girls would use
it daily in their imaginative play-changing
table, hostess station, teacher stand, etc.
What a great giveaway. Thank Seleta!!

  165. kate says:

Love the shape of the stool! Don’t know which one I like better, the white or light blue, love them both!!! All lower tables in our house get styled by our two year old son. Often there are little cars, animals or trains arranged around and on top of whatever I put on the table. It definately never lets decor get stale!

  166. CArolyn says:

What a great piece of fun to have in any room! I would put it in the small TV room that we use the most. The room is probably 10×10 with a fireplace on one wall and a bank of windows on an adjoining wall. This will be a great pop of color and whimsey next to the fireplace chair.

  167. Robin Grey says:

Such a great peice. I would put it in my bedroom next to my new Anthro rug – it will be so happy there! My daughter will likely use it to hold her sippy cup, but I won’t mind – ;0)

I have the perfect spot right next to my bed and I would love to give this lovely item a new home!!

  177. Amy says:

This will go in our bedroom. It’s a subdued green and the stool would add just the punch that room needs next to a reading chair.

  178. Kayla Onufer says:

Oh how I love thee….many ways I see this little baby used in my home. From Barbie & Ken escapades to coloring in coloring books to cocktails for mommy. I LOVE this little piece of heaven…it belongs in my front unformal living room so all can enjoy when they walk in to my little la maison.

  180. Traci says:

  184. Sharyn says:

I would use it in our guest bath to stack towels on. So funky!

  190. Liz says:

Love these tables. I think the green one would work great in our nursery – I need a spot to set my water and phone next to the glider! I’m sure my 2 year old would see a choo-choo track around the bottom and a parking garage on top for his cars!

  191. Melinda says:

A no brainer — this baby would sit right next to my bathtub with a candle on it and a glass of wine !!!

  192. Lori Priest says:

This stool is just too cool!! I have five teenagers and they are all very individual. However, my youngest daughter loves to think outside of the box when it comes to style, fashion, and color. In our last house she painted all the walls in her room this very color of electric lime green, her favorite color!! It was a little jarring when you walked in the room, but she loved it. The black painted antique furniture kept it grounded while pops of hot pink added to the energy of the room. This stool would be a perfect addition to her room now, a reminder of the fun, funky feel of her last room. Although, I’m afraid it could possibly be used in an “out of the box” way. She would probably try to use it as a stage to feel like the “diva” of her dreams as she belts out her favorite songs. Or…perhaps to assist her with dance moves that she learns from her favorite ballet teacher :).

  193. Jen says:

I would place it right next to my couch in the living room – which is in desparate need of a table! I’ve been looking to change colors in that room and have recently switched to more happy green and yellow accents. This would be perfect!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  194. Mary T says:

  195. Sheree Perelman says:

I would place this stool in our room, since that’s where everyone likes to gather. I’m sure our 3 cats would check it out. I think it would probably get stacked with my 10th grader’s papers that I like to save. I can see it also having photographs on it, before I organize them to go in the album. I don’t really think I would ever see the top of it, because in my house, everything is used for something.

  196. Debra C says:

This would look GREAT next to a chair in the living room and I am sure my grandson will find lots of ways to use it!

  197. It will go beside the bed in our guest room. I hope, I hope!!!

  198. You are right! This can go anywhere! Maybe beside my chair, for a cup of tea while I knit, or perhaps beside my bed, or even at the cottage on the porch. No…next to the chair for knitting. Oh, pick me, pick me, pick me.

  199. Beth DelConte says:

Wow! I love this! It would definitely go in my living room. Let’s see, in addition to your list of kid uses for the stool, my three kids would use it as a yorkie grooming station, a Star Wars battle scene… And my husband would use it to cool off the iPad after browsing pinterest for hours (seriously, he is more addicted to it than I!)

  206. kelly says:

i would love this piece! it would be perfect in my living room!

  207. Kim says:

Beautiful stool-the lines are great and I especially love the color!
Everything has to do double duty and be able to be used in multiple spaces in our home these days. I have 3 young children in a condo so it is cozy. I love the scale of this stool. It would be great in my twins nursery by the green and white graphic chair. Great for bottles (water or milk) and other various baby items. I could also use it in my bathroom next to the tub for a book, candle or cup of tea.

ohhhhhh, this would be perf in my family room!

Cute piece! I can imagine it as a little table next to our love seat or as a place to stack books next to the reading chair in the office!

  211. tiffany b says:

This piece would travel throughout my house making a stop in the living room next to a big comfy chair in our picture window then travel to my little Ella’s room where green is our color, then after some time in Ella’s room it would move to our landing where we get cozy for feedings and storytime!!!!

  212. Elizabeth says:

What a pretty piece!! I would love to have this stool in lime green and I would add it into my living room decor so that I could enjoy it everyday! I have three pups and they would love to run around, in and out of the legs chasing one another! It would fit in perfectly with all of my linen and leather and fun floral prints in the living room now! Thanks for sharing, Seleta!

  213. MSill says:

Love it! with no budget I am trying to re-discover what I have and what I don’t have. This is the PERFECT side table (which I don’t have..yet) to hold a Seaside Tervis Tumbler.

  214. My daughter just turned two and we are redecorating her room with a big girl bed and all the trimmings! This sweet table would look perfect in her room!

I would place right next to my bathtub to set my glass of wine and book on.

I love this stool! The lime green would look great in my family room next to my chairs with china seas brown zig zag fabric! great giveaway!

So cute! As we’re planning for babies, this would be the perfect stand! Until then I’m sure it will hold, cups of coffee, laptops, flowers, frames…
    thanks!

  220. I can see this being used in so many ways by my brood of little ones. Here are just a few of the things they might do….play candy store (this is their way of conning me into getting the candy down), use it as a zoo habitat for one of many of their stuffed animals, set it up as a beauty shop chair for their american girl dolls or just run around it in circles to burn energy (per my request).

  221. I can see this being used in so many ways by my brood of little ones. I love the light blue!

  222. Stacey says:

I would love to place it in my home office; however, I know it would quickly become a fort or something adventurous for my little boys’ stuffties that seem to take over our entire house. That’s OK. I can share!

  227. Louisa says:

Oh what a great little table! I would use this in our living room. I’ve been looking for a small side table and this would be great – and indestructible! I have an 18 month old who would probably try to climb on it, sit on it, tip it over and then sit on it, stuff her toys inside it, put her toys on top of it, and probably whack it with her toys, too. I love the white and the black. Thanks Seleta!

  228. Jean Tepper says:

Well, I’m downsizing but this little side table would be terrific in my downsized home.
The color is perfect, almost matches my fireplace color. I would use it in the living room, it needs to be where it’s seen and admired!

  229. Patricia says:

I would use this in the gazebo on my deck – I’m sure my 2 cats would try to “hide” in the bottom part :)

  230. LindsB says:

I have been looking for a way to get green into my family room and this is perfect! If I were to win this little beauty it would go right next to my sofa and replace this silver side table I have that is just too large for the space. The colorful character that would use this piece most is my husband- you could call him furry too haha. He puts his water glasses on the floor and it drives me NUTS! With this little addition he would be forced to put them on here and it would make me oh so happy :)

  231. Kim says:

This would be beautiful in my daughter’s room. I just redecorated her room and could use one last side table. Would love to send you photos if I am the lucky winner.

I would put the quirky stool in my living room. It is fun and modern!

  236. Meredith K. says:

I would love to win this gores little table! it would be perfect in my living room. I have two little girls, so I’m sure it would be used for many of the same things yours is. But if I’m really lucky, it would have a stack of books and a mug of hot coffee on it next to my favorite chair

I love that hourglass stool! I can think of at LEAST 10 places that it would beautify in my home. With my four sons, I can’t rule out having it used for a variety of interesting uses. Even though my “baby” is 15, I still find little plastic army men in random places…

I have been eying that gorgeous piece for so long! As a soon-to-be newlywed, this stool would be such a standout piece in our new little apartment for when we have guests over. It would be adorable next to a sofa to rest a beautiful floral arrangement or a glass of wine!

  241. Jill says:

This eclectic little green stool would look great in my turquoise beach themed house. Perfect for sitting next to my big chocolate leather chair to hold a glass of wine while I check out Bungalow 5 on facebook.

  242. Margo Quiriconi says:

In our den, of course. Holding morning coffee, afternoon tea…a place to rest the needlepoint, remote control, etc. etc. The table is just great!

  243. Allison says:

Wow oh wow! Now that little stool has some serious swag. I have been dreaming up a little reading nook for my bedroom and that piece would be a perfect chair-side companion. Its fresh design might even inspire my husband to get excited about “project reading nook!”

  244. Emily says:

I would put it in my den to replace the garden stool my 3 year old son just broke!!

  245. Christie says:

The perfect accent to house some great books!

  246. Britt says:

I love the color and know it would create the perfect “pop” in my office! I am sure it would brighten my day!

  247. Maria Martin says:

Wow … I would LOVE to have this stool. I’ve been searching high and low for a small bedside table to go in our guest room. This would be perfect! Don’t know which color I would choose yet … pick me, pick me!

  248. Oooh – we are redoing our family room right now and this would look so great next to one of the armchairs! Thanks!

  249. Judith Rogers says:

OH!!! I would LOVE this sitting by my bathtub (which I hardly ever get to use) with some fresh flowers and candles and bath salts and a good book to read!! That would be my dream!!
Plus – 10 minutes of peace and quiet from my 3 children:) But being able to look at something
as beautiful as this would be wonderful while sitting a a relaxing wonderful smelling hot bath!

  250. Tara Teverbaugh says:

This color makes me happy! I would use the table in my main living room next to a cream twill chair with nailhead details. I love to read here and need a spot for my coffee!

  251. B says:

Oh, I love that little stool. It would look swell next to my clawfoot bathtub with a vintagy bottle of bubble bath perched on top. Thanks for the chance to win!

  252. Wonderful giveaway – I just love the stool! And green is my favorite color. I think it would look great anywhere in my home but I think I would use it as a side table in my living room.
