Visiting our family’s Colorado horse farm for ten days has inspired me more than ever to someday have land and a farmhouse. Not gonna lie, I’ve already started a barn inspiration board on my pinterest page. While zipping around the internet in a state of barn madness, I found a dreamy abode over here. The only thing missing is a barn and a few horses.
I’m crushing on everything about this home…
A side porch perfect for lemonade in the summer and hot cocoa in the winter.
I wouldn’t be the least bit miserable in this kitchen.
If daydreaming about farmhouses is your thing, check out this other New England home crafted by the same builder. I love it’s symmetrical perfection and the fact that it was modeled after the Wells Thorn House in Deerfield, Massachusetts. It’s over here.
Happy New Year!!!

Stunningly beautiful!
I have no doubt in my mind that there is a farmhouse with at least one horse in your future;)
That home modeled after the Deerfield house is near where we live! Small world!
Ironically, we spent Christmas at Rosemary…crushing over living at the beach! Hope your Christmas was wonderful. Do love the farmhouse!
Just beautiful! Happy holidays to you and your family!

Absolutely beautiful. You can never go wrong with a white house and red brick chimney. Glad you are enjoying such a great holiday! Happy New Year, Seleta!
My dream home! I am with you I want a farmhouse and a barn one day.
This is perfection!!!
We used to live right near Deerfield Mass before moving back to Utah a couple of years ago. How I miss the old houses there. So beautiful!! Fun to see this new one based on that beautiful old architecture. Sure makes me homesick for New England though.
Now that’s my kind of farmhouse…gorgeous!!
I love this house so much I wouldn’t mind living in that garage!
Sure glad I found the old issue of Southern Living under the bed this morning, or I wouldn’t have spent the whole afternoon going through your blog, swooning over every photo, every post.
This is the perfect farmhouse! I can feel you’ll have one in your future!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year! Thank you for your inspiration this past year. I have a feeling 2012 is going to be even better! xo
Beautiful! This house is so you. I picture you and the family in a house just like this with horses out back. Happy 2012!

Hi Seleta,
I’m following you on Pinterest. I really love your blog. I’ve been an avid reader for about a year and a half. You have some of the most beautiful pictures on the blogosphere and I really love your aesthetic. I must say, the perfection of your life is sometimes too much for us mere mortals to bear!! Don’t stop though, I love it!
Amicalement,
