I’m of the belief that a dash of black is good for the soul.
This freebie invite makes me want to host a hot cocoa party by the fire. Marshmallows would be required. Download this bad boy over here.
Fancy a winter dinner party instead? I found a set freebie black place cards right here.
All images from my pinterest page. I’ve decided that pinterest is the new crack.

I have a “black beauty” pin board and I am loving black too.
Fantastic collection of images. Do you have a source for a good pair of black short riding boots?
I am looking for a new pair!

Oh, funny! I’m still mooching off of everyone else’s crack then because I haven’t indulged in my own pinterest account. Ironically, I JUST finished painting a wall with chalkboard paint in my kids’ playroom and I love it! Now that’s some drama I can deal with! :)
I agree that a little black is good for us……a new black/ivory Dash and Albert runner is in my kitchen!
Love your touch-of-black photos. Especially the black door in the stone wall…sigh. I dream of a stone house!
Where’s the like button for Pinterest is the new crack?? Highly addictive legal fun!!
Black and white is my color choice as a base in my home. I have to have a touch here and there! As far as Pinterest being the new crack for we design types, I so agree! It is definitely my guilty pleasure. I just went to your boards and I am now following YOU!! Here is my boards, I think you will be able to tell with more than 6,000 pins I am an addict. Don’t judge!! I have been doing it for a very long time, lol

Black is such a great dramatic touch and I totally agree that Pinterest is crack. I cannot stop pinning!
A very chic post indeed! Thanks for sharing:)
I could not agree with you more regarding black. I can’t live without it in my own home! That and stained wood.

Hi Seleta,
I love your blog and have been reading it for a while. I too ride (hunter) and was so excited when you started to post about you and your daughter riding and love your posts regarding riding, the barn, and Savez. I was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased your navy (?) and white saddle pad as seen in your latest picture riding Savez.
Many thanks and I would love more horsey posts :) Thanks for always keeping me coming back for more!

Hi Shabe,
My saddlepad came from Dover. Here it is:
