Today’s giveaway is a very special product designed by one of my readers, Leslie. It’s a brand new type of cough drop for kids called lilapops. These pops are 100% natural and contain two simple ingredients: honey and marshmallow root. No scary ingredients like food dye or other chemicals. I also like that they are attached to a stick, so you’re not worried about your tot accidentally swallowing a piece too big.
Leslie is a beautiful and talented mom of two who decided it was time children had a natural (and fun!) solution for a cough or sore throat. I love that she named her pops after her daughter, Lila. Here she is with her precious peeps.
Today lilapops is giving away this modern gift basket filled with goodies for one lucky and little winner.
GIVEAWAY:
Here are the ingredients for lilapops…very impressive! I sure appreciate knowing there’s a healthy option out there for my little guys when they’re feeling sick. If you’d like to look into ordering lilapops for your household, just go over here.
Don’t you love their packaging? It was designed by bloggy friend and talented graphic artist, kidlark. She and Leslie did a great job!!
HOW TO ENTER TO WIN:
Leave a comment describing your favorite lollipop from childhood. Mine was a stripey pinwheel my Dad once bought me when we visited Six Flags. It was nearly the size of my head, took me a few hours to eat, and probably rotted out all of my teeth, but was so fun and fanciful to eat!
Good luck and Happy Friday!!!

My favorite lollipop was and still is an orange tootsie roll pop….love it. What a great idea for a cough drop lollipop for kids….wish I had some right now as my oldest is home with strep throat. Boo!
I have a child with croup at home right now and I have wanted to find SOMETHING to give him all week long!!! Perfect solution!
I love love loved rock candy as a kid. Does that count as a lollipop? Blow-Pops were a close second!
I loved the old fashioned twisted stick lollipops. Yummy and beautiful both.
omg such a cute giveaway! I loved tootsie roll pops and blow pops! Ohhh and then there was the lovely RING POP!
This is embarrassing but mine were Spice Girl lollipops. They were strawberry flavored and came with collectable stickers of the Spice Girls and I tried so hard to collect them all, I even traded with friends and bought a whole box full of the lollipops from our local video store. haha
This is a great idea!! I’m ordering these for sure!
My favorite lollipops were the lifesavers ones, so good!!
Hi Seleta!

Dum Dums!!! I loved root beer Dum Dums the best. Thank you for this giveaway opportunity!
mmm….tootsie pops, but only the chocolate flavored ones. i always (and still do) tried to grab those seemingly rare one or two out of the big bag before anyone else did. i guess the cherry and grape didn’t cut it for me.
they sound wonderfully good for you!
My favorite lollipop was without a doubt a cherry tootsie pop. The anticipation of the outer hard shell melting deliciously in my mouth, knowing that a luscious piece of caramel would be my reward was almost too much to bear. Rarely did I ever just crunch the outer shell to quickly claim the prize. Ahh…a wonderful childhood memory.
honestly, i’m not really much of a lollipop fan….but my friends were all addicted to chuppa chups (you can’t find it here)
I’ve always loved lollipops and was never one to discriminate based on flavor, color or shape! However, root beer flavored Dum Dums are particularly yummy…
My absolute favorite lollipop from when I was young, has to be the one a family friend bought me at Disney World, the big ones with the stripes, that has Mickey on the label. I remember eating that for hours!
My favorite was the tootsie pop. Inspired by the owl, I always wanted to see how many licks it would take. I always got bored and ended up biting into it, but that never stopped me from trying again.
My favorite was always a ring pop- Loved the BLING!
The drive-through teller system was new when I was little, and our bank always gave out Dum Dums. My mom, who never let us have junk food, somehow ALWAYS let us have the Dum Dums from the bank. I feel like I would be doing a disservice if I (another health-conscience mom) did not to the same same for my 2.5 year-old! (What an amazing idea! Would it be weird if I ordered some for myself?)
I was a big fan of rock candy on a stick!! My Grandparent’s owned a little boutique hotel in Warm Springs, GA. Whenever we would visit, we would eat lunch in the hotel’s sweet shop and cafe. I would always get to choose a big rock candy from the colorful jars on the counter. Pink of course, and my mother would have to constantly remind me not to bite it.
My favorite lollipop was a strawberries and cream flavor. I believe it was a “lifesaver” lollipop and I remember it being around Valentine’s Day when these were available. They were red and white swirled and may or may not have a whole in the middle. They were the best tasting things ever!
Dum Dums were my favorite, strawberry, peach and ? I love that she made these pops!
My favortie pops as a kid were the twisted ones on a stick. My parent’s always bought me one when we went to Disney.
tootsie roll pops :)
Wow! What a great product! My favorite lolli will always be a chocolate tootsie pop…because the chocolate never ends!
What a great giveaway and idea – I really liked your generic simple lollipops – cherry and lemon being favorites.

what a darling giveaway. and i am soooooo excited about those lollipops. i’m always nervous about giving the kiddos cough drops! i will be looking into these!
my favorite lollipop as a child was a toss-up between cherry blow pops and the caramel apple pops. (and ring pops were always a hit too!)
There was a restaurant that my mom and dad would take me to throughout my childhood, it became almost a second kitchen for our family, that’s how often we would go to this family-owned local joint. Every time my dad went to the counter to pay, I would go with him and he would buy me a jumbo sucker – they were a whole $1.00! I remember three things about those lollipops: one, how I could hardly fit it into my mouth; two, how I slobbered all over trying to eat it; and three, how happy I was standing next to my dad at that counter, picking out my favorite flavor.
My favorite pops were the red lobster shaped ones from Maine we would always get on our annual summer trip. Once it was gone we had to wait an entire year before we could get another one as they were exclusive to a particular shop in Maine. Years have gone by, and those lobster pops have been copied by many, but they have never tasted like I remember~
My favorite was a Valentine red cherry pop that was so full of flavor! It had a bit of sour to it and I remember at the time thinking “this is a real lollipop!”.

I loved good ole dum dums. Our local small town bank always passed these out to children in the drive thru window. Always excited to see what flavor I would receive!
I loved Blowpops!!
I always loved watermelon blowpops! Those giant spiral lollipops were so cool. I would have loved to have one of those.
My favorite is the tootsie roll pop – red please! How many licks…
This would be perfect for my 2 year old! My favorite lollipops are tootsie pops. I also like the strawberry and cream swirl pop but I can’t remember who makes them.
Alison
I loved big colorful swirly lollipops!
I liked strawberry chupa chups.
I loved the tootsie roll pops when I was a kid! I still love them but haven’t had one in a LONG time. Second favorite is those big, flat, rolled up ones. I don’t recall ever finishing one though!
Red tootsie pop :) These lilapops look great! I have a 1 yr. old and 3 yr. old and they are too young for cough drops. These sound like a great alternative.
my favorite lollipop is the blowbop. i would work so hard just to get to that gum center…yum
I loved the Carnival lollipops – there were 100′s of flavors and they were the size of a golf ball and we used to give them to each other in junior high as little surprises at each other’s lockers.
