One of my favorite looks in fashion is mixing layered vintage jewels with a simple, classic outfit. That’s why I’m thrilled to share with you today’s giveaway from ExVoto Vintage. Looking for the perfect baubles to liven up your entire wardrobe? Then you need to meet ExVoto Vintage, a handmade jewelry line created by Elizabeth Adams.
THE GIVEAWAY:
One lucky lady will win the Ellie with the Azalea locket, a $249 value. This glorious piece is made of 18kt gold-plated chunky, polished cable chain and a hand-wrapped, large baroque freshwater pearl with the exclusive ExVoto Vintage toggle closure at front. Behold your necklace.
I LOVE a versatile piece like this that can be worn with something as casual as a tee and jeans or layered-up with pearls and a little black dress for a night on the town. It’s so timeless that I could even imagine a fashion icon such as Grace Kelly wearing this out and about.
No two necklaces or bracelets are alike. Personally, I’d much prefer investing in one original, high quality piece than buy something mass produced you’re sure to see everyone else wearing. I’m obsessed with the classic in sterling silver as well as her cameo pendants…I would sport either with a simple white button down, skinnies and over-the-knee boots.
Elizabeth’s lockets come with one of four blessing keepsake charms, a unique feature inspired by the very first locket she was given as a baby by her father’s mentor. Inside her locket was a handwritten blessing that said, “may your life be as beautiful as you are.”
Raised by two artists, Elizabeth’s many sources of inspiration stem from hours spent in art galleries, world travels and the rich history from her hometown in Montgomery, Alabama.
“The home I was raised in was built in 1920 and only a few blocks from a home of Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald. My sister and I would often find old objects in the house and in the yard and we would wonder who had been there before us. I grew to appreciate the old windowpanes, the craftsmanship of the woodwork and the layers of paint and time found in the homes of my neighborhood.” Elizabeth Adams
Aside from all of this original beauty and style, I’m most inspired by the meaning behind Elizabeth’s work. With the idea of honoring her Creator, she named her company, ExVoto which means “to express gratitude.” She started making these jewels after the loss of her precious daughter, Madeline, to a battle with brain cancer. The Maisy necklace is named after her nickname for Madeline. Elizabeth donates a portion of sales to The Cure Starts Now Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research.
HOW TO WIN:
Become a fan on ExVoto’s facebook page right here. Then leave a comment in this post telling us what occasion you would most enjoy wearing the Ellie with Azalea locket OR how you would style an outfit around the Ellie. Winner will be announced on Sunday!

This locket would look great with one of my black suits @ the office.
Beautiful one of a kind pieces!
what an amazing site. but what really touched my heart is her tender story. as a former pediatric oncology nurse, i find it so inspiring to see someone take their grief & turn it in to a beautiful tribute to their lost loved one.
i am speaking at my first conference in a few weeks….a conference to encourage women that the Lord loves them & that He is a restorer….
i would be so honored to wear a piece of Ex Voto to that event

I would treasure wearing a piece of ExVoto jewelry! I love wearing a white tshirt/ jeans in the spring with a statement piece of jewelry, so this would be perfect!
These pieces are so beautiful! I love them all. I am obsessed with the necklace though. I would love to pair it with a casual outfit…think it would be great together.
I would be honored to wear this beautiful locket to an upcoming wedding shower for one of my dearest friends. It would be the perfect statement with a classic spring dress!!
Ohhh! I have been loving these since I saw them on Willow’s blog!! I even went to a store here in Birmingham to check them out. Beautiful!! I would wear this with something super simple so that it could make its own statement. I’m thinking black T-shirt, white jeans and turquoise flats. (dreaming of summer over here) Thanks so much! (already a fan on FB)
This necklace would pair well with so many outfits! I could see it going from anything like a casual day trip with jeans and a blouse, to a Sunday brunch with a fun dress! I would LOVE to win this necklace, it is so beautiful. I also love the background to her company and her inspiration- its so great to hear a story about a “real” company who makes handmade items. Refreshing. Thank you!
What an excellent cause + story!
I have a cream lace blouse that I am excited to wear after my baby arrives. I’d love to pair this necklace with that top. (But I could get ample wear out of this piece with everyday outfits).
GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS pieces!! I am a very simple dresser since most of my time is spent driving my 3 children from one activity or another or volunteering at school. The Ellie would be a perfect way to jazz up just about anything- a tank and maxi shirt, a tee and boyfriend jeans, or my favorite linen a-line dress.
I would love to wear this with jeans!
oh. my. goodness. i can’t get over how beautiful that necklace is. i had told my hubby i wanted a ring for our five year anniversary, but this may be better!!
would wear it with my favorite dark skinny jeans and cowl neck sweater. in the summer with my dresses, of course. LOVE.
This necklace would look fabulous for the rehersal dinner I’m attending near Savannah, Ga. next Friday night!! I would possibly rearrange my entire ensemble to include it :)
What a very lovely giveaway for so many reasons. I enjoyed reading her story. This is a stunning piece -so elegant. I actually just purchased a very faint goldish glittery top with a half turtle neck and ruffle puffed sleeves that I think would be just the compliment to this necklace. :) I am now a fan of hers. Thank you for introducing us! Blessings, Shannon -dreamsandajourney.blogspot.com
Love vintage inspired jewelry! I have been lucky to be given several fabulous pieces from my grandmother and they always get more compliments than any other jewelry that I own. I don’t have a locket though and would love one. The ExVoto pieces are simply gorgeous and certainly make a statement. Elizabeth’s story is so touching and I love that she is donating proceeds to a charity to honor her daughter. This piece would look awesome with a classic black turtleneck cashmere sweater or a crisp white shirt. But honestly, that is a signature piece that I might want to wear practically every day! Thanks Seleta!
This is definitely a Sunday brunch necklace. We try to be a little dressy for brunch and I have a vintage lace dress that I think would look wonderful with this piece. Thanks for the giveaway!
What a gorgeous necklace!! I love love it…I’m very into mixing white and ivory right now, in my home and in my clothes. Much like the last photo! That’s what I would wear it with, white jeans and a lacy ivory top. Pick me!
This necklace would look perfect with a cute spring dress and blazer! I’m sending my husband a link to their website :)
This is beautiful and would pair well with dressy, business casual or very casual outfits. It’s an elegant, timeless classic that would be worn for years to come. No trends for me.
Ooo what a beauty! I would wear this piece to upcoming weddings this spring/summer! I could also see wearing it with a plain white tee, boyfriend jeans, leopard heels and big sunglasses ;)
This necklace would be perfect for most any outfit. Thank you for sharing the story of the designer, so touching.
I’m about to have our first baby (a girl) and would love to wear this at her baptism this summer!
I love to see women who follow their passions and create their own businesses. This one inspired me especially because I am sure after losing a child, one does not always feel a lot of joy and motivation. The fact that Elizabeth created this company and has such a gracious outlook truly is inspiring. I would wear a piece like this all the time. I think with a crisp gingham shirt, skinny jeans and boots, it would be the star of the outfit!!!
Happy weekend!
Church or dress down Fridays – it would work for anything.
A woman with history is much more interesting, the same is true for jewelry! I would love to wear this necklace with my mandatory black at work. I need a statement piece so thanks for the opportunity
I’d love to wear it with whatever outfit I pick for my brother in law (and sister in almost law!)’s wedding coming up!!! I love all the necklaces, but the sayings in the lockets are great! :)
I have a class reunion coming up in May and would love to have a piece to wear that really says WOW!
What a beautiful necklace! It’s so versatile…great with a blazer, white shirt and jeans, or for a night on the town. I would treasure this piece.
I love this classic necklace!!
It is pouring rain here, so I think I would put this over my go-to black turtleneck sweater dress, my black rainboots, pop on my trench, and run for the car!
Thanks for the giveaway!
i would wear either necklace with just about anything! Elizabeth has beautiful pieces!
This would be the perfect piece to wear on a sweet date with my hubby! I just bought a new dress and the locket necklace is calling my name to go with it:)
The truth is I am an unaccessorizer – usually. I’m never quite sure which accessory compliments an outfit, so I go without (tomboy). I now know that a piece from Ex Voto will be the perfect compliment to even the most simple of outfits including my staple – white tee and jeans (soooo, tomboy chic!). Such a beautifully inspired piece would perfect for any day of my week. Thanks for sharing your ideas and sweetness – and for inspiring!
I adore ExVoto! I live in Montgomery and have been meaning to go by her shop for months now! The story is so touching…I cannot imagine how hard it would be to lose a child. I am a casual girl at heart and would love to wear this with jeans and a white tank or white shirt. Beautiful pieces!
Easter Sunday!!!! What a beautiful way to celebrate the resurrection than with a glorious pearl…. It appears to have emerged from the stunning locket!
Gorgeous!! I’m thinking boots, jeans, a neutral colored shirt, and this hot pink blazer I have to wear with this necklace. I’m in love!
I would love this with a simple white t, boyfriend jeans and a bright color blocked flat shoe! Very simple, very classic.
wow. thanks for the introduction….such beautiful jewelry & story!
This jewelry is AMAZING! The vintage look is my favorite. I am in my mid 20′s, so I am definitely in the time period where all I do is go to weddings, engagement parties, etc, so I would lovvve to have this necklace to spice up my outfits!!
Love to be introduced to new things. Thanks, Seleta. If I was lucky enough to win this ExVoto necklace I’d give it to my daughter, who will celebrate her 30th birthday in March. I still have her original baby locket, so I’d give her both and stand back and watch her pair it with EVERY single thing in her wardrobe. This is lovely xoxo
LOVE this piece. I’d wear it everywhere!
Gorgeous! I’d probably wear it most often with tshirts or oxfords and jeans to make an everyday outfit fabulous.
Love it!!! I would probably wear it with jeans and white shirt. It would be a great everyday piece!!!
I would wear the gorgeous Ellie in the open neckline of a white gauzy shirt, jeans and knee high leather boots. I admired a similar locket on a woman at a flea market in Washington DC 7 years ago and have been searching for one ever since. This is it! So gorgeous.
Love it! I would wear it with a little black dress, leggings, and brown boots.
I just got a new job , teaching! I would wear it to school so I can be the teacher that wears the cool jewelry:)))
Honestly I’d probably wear it with a tshirt and pajama pants while I either nurse my newborn, get sand out of my sixteen month olds hair, or answer one of a million questions from my extremely inquisitive four year old. And thanks to the necklace I would feel über glamorous whilst doing so :)
Oh I really hope I win this one…
This is a beautiful piece that can be worn dressy or casual. I would wear it for Easter with my new purple sheath dress. it would be perfect with the round neckline. I love all of this line! it is lovely!
GORGEOUS pieces!! I would wear this necklace to work, weddings, and well anywhere.
What would I NOT wear this with? It’s gorgeous and so versatile – I’d wear it all the time!
I am a pretty simple dresser. I would wear it with anything, but to pick one, how about a chambray shirt, khakis and my new favorite pair of nude (low) heels.
I would wear it to my M.S. graduation this June.
I would wear it to my daughters school fundraiser.
Gorgeous! I would wear the necklace w/ a simple sheath dress or skinnies, a v neck tee, and boots.
Who needs a special occasion…I’d wear it anytime I wanted to feel special!
This beautiful necklace made by a beautiful soul would be cherished and worn every day with everything. I would put little picks of my late husband and late twin sister inside the locket if possible. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a lovely gift.
Gorgeous stuff! Not familiar with the line but so excited it’s close to home. I would enjoy wearing it to church with a simple black dress or more casually with jeans and fitted tee. thanks, seleta!
Beautiful! I would wear this necklace on Mother’s Day as we dedicate our 10th child at church! What a special piece of jewelry!
I love these!! beautiful.
These pieces are amazing! I think it would look fabulous with anything but think adding it to a white button up with skinny jeans and flats for the weekend would be great!
Gorgeous vintage pieces. I would style the Ellie locket with a rich Emerald green silk blouse, winter white trousers and some very sparkly high heel sandals. A 1920s look for a rare date night with my husband. Although, I do believe if I win the locket I would find lots of reasons to wear this beautiful piece.
I LOVE these pieces – just beautiful! And so much love and meaning into the whole business makes it all so much more special. I would love to wear the Ellie locket on my dream trip to Savannah – strolling around the city, doing a little shopping, historic house tour, maybe ghost tour?? All in a sweet summer dress, of course – just perfect!
I would love to wear this necklace with a fun top, jeans and heels to my monthly Girls Night Out dinners! And my daughter’s name is Ellie, so that makes me love this necklace even more!
I love this necklace! (love her logo too) I would put a picture of my new 9 day old baby girl, Charlotte, in the locket! Would be great to wear when we Christen her in the spring with a fab dress!
I ” liked ” them on Facebook!
her line is stunning! I would wear it around town- no special occasion required- it fits in with how I dress, and what I love!
OMG…..her line of jewelry is simply amazing. I love denim with crisp white shirts, or a white t-shirt and blazers, and any of her pieces would be perfectly paired with these outfits.
To my friend’s wedding next month, with a dressy white blouse and a long black satin skirt. Beautiful. Thanks for the introduction, Seleta.
Ok since I am coming to Rosemary Beach in late March, I would wear it with a long black tank dress, gold sandals with a fancy fresh pedi and suns kissed face! It’s beautiful! I would love it and layered like shown…

I wear blue jeans every day, but would love to add a little glam to my look with this gorgeous necklace!!!
Wow, what a beautiful necklace and such a touching story! I have to tell you before I even finished reading, I immediately thought what a beautiful piece this would be to wear to our 35th wedding anniversary celebration. We recently, after many, many years of hoping. searching and praying purchased a small cottage very near the beach. We could not feel more blessed and my husband and I would love to renew our vows on the beach with all our family around us and this necklace would just be the perfect keepsake. I can see it with a very simple ivory linen dress, hair braided and bare feet! Love it, thank you for sharing this jewelry with us.
I absolutely love this jewelry! Would look fabulous for my college graduation this May with a simple dress. It would be such a statement piece!
I’d love to wear this amazing necklace at my boyfriend’s graduation this spring. It would be perfect!

Hi Seleta!
I liked them on FB! I remember reading about them a long time ago on your blog and loved their concept and jewels. Thanks for the contest! I would wear it to work and special presentations in the office to make me feel beautiful.
Take care!
Jen
Hi Seleta,
Great Necklace! I would love to wear it with a crisp white man style shirt, or white v-neck T, + cigarette jeans. Of course it could just as easily be worn with a cashmere sweater and pencil skirt…just that the former is my daily uniform.
Best,
Donna
I could see me wearing this any day just to make me feel special. A great accessory always makes my day a little brighter!!
OH EM GEE! I love this necklace!! I think I would wear it with a plain fitted white tshirt and jeans with high boots and a classic knit cardigan. Easy elegance! Thank you for the giveaway!!

I think I would wear this to church, work, and date nights.
First of all Ellie is my daughters name :) Secondly I would wear it to my birthday party!
Gorgeous pieces, I would wear them with everything!
I’d wear them to work. They are really pretty.
I’d wear this piece to dinner with a friend with a turned up collar blouse, to frame it, in a soft pink, or even a soft white, layer it with pearls, like you said, and add a thin strand of black onyx beads. For daytime, it’s elegant by itself with just about anything. It’s a very chic piece!
What a gorgeous piece … and an even more beautiful story! I would enjoy wearing the necklace just about anywhere … but especially on those days when you really do need the reminder that “all is well.” I used to live in Montgomery, so fun to read about a new line out of there as well!
I love this jewelry and it reminds menof my grandmother’s jewelry. I w would wear on a date with my husband!
Hi from New Zealand Seleta, this is the first time I have ever contributed to a blog conversation. Each week I read your blog with interest and appreciate the chance to peek into life of the stylish! If I won, I would go a little nuts and wear the necklace to work with my grandmothers long pearls doubled up, my great grandmothers cameo that I converted to clip over my pearl necklace and then look to NZ designers and wear it with my Karen Walker double breasted check short trench jacket, Kate Sylvester pencil skirt and October Reign cream silk singlet. Come the weekend, I can clutch it nervously wearing T shirt, skinny jeans and gumboots watching my beautiful 5 year old daughter master rising to the trot. I’m a bit scared of horses but she is very clear about her passion for them!
So beautiful – so classic ! I’d have to pair this with a pair of jeans and a white linen shirt for a much needed date with my husband ! Thank you for sharing this beautiful jewelry and this beautiful story of healing through creativity !
Love it! I have a great pair of camel pants that is screaming for this necklace. I can see wearing this necklace on those days that I need an extra boost of confidance.
Would LOVE to win the necklace!!! Might actually get a date night out so I can show it off. Would love to wear it with a coral top and jeans or a turquoise dress . Already dreaming of a great night out with the hubby.
Wow, for the first time in ages, I am attending two black dress events next month and there couldnt be a better way of dressing up my old black dress. In addition, these look so versatile, classic whilst modern I would definately be using them for the extra something on the weekdays at work. Many thanks for a very inspirational blog.
I am in love! This beautiful locket would look amazing with a classic dress – fitted bodice, flirty sleeves and a-line skirt – in an amazing print. If I win the locket – I will buy the dress! :) Thanks so much for sharing this and her story.
Wow, what amazing pieces these are! Would LOVE to win this!!! I love the history about being a neighbor to the Fitzgeralds. I’ve always thought Zelda seemed like such a neat person, and The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books/movies. I lost my mother to brain cancer two years ago. So happy to see people trying to do more to fight this!
Forgot to say where I would wear it. :-) I would wear it on our upcoming trip to Gulf Shores, AL, on dates with my husband, and to work.
I am in love. These necklaces are the stuff of dreams and I could live in one. In two weeks I will be going on a cruise and want it to wear all week.
No special occasion needed !!! I’d wear it all the time , I think the juxtaposition of a fabulous piece of jewelry with jeans & T shirt looks great!
I’d wear this wonderful necklace with a crisp white shirt, jeans, and a camel trenchcoat for
a dinner date with my hubby and on SO many more occasions! Love it- great give-away!
I think a precious object should not be left to wait in a box for a special day. Instead it should be enjoyed. As your post covered, life can throw us the unexpected.
I personaly love a gorgeous necklace with a simple t and blazer. I often wear my grans pearls that she gave me when I graduated from uni.
They make feel dressed, while giving me a quite and secret link to happy memories.
I have a few family weddings coming up- this would be great! Thx for the new connection.
What an absolutely gorgeous necklace, and such a wonderful artist. I definitely “like” her on FB. Thank you for sharing about this wonderful family and the memory of her precious daughter. If I won, I’d wear this necklace with EVERYTHING!
Love the locket and love the way you can layer it with so many other pieces. I have just gotten interested in wearing jewelry and have slowly started building my collection. The locket would be a wonderful addition. I agree with you, Seleta, in wanting one of a kind pieces instead of mass costume jewelry. I think I would probably wear this often with jeans and tshirts but absolutely see the locket with dressy outfits as well.
Who needs a special occasion to wear these beauties? I would happily wear it to the grocery store!
I love EX VOTO’s jewelry. Dressing casual on the coast, is a way of life for me. I love wearing t-shirts, with jeans or a long skirt. This jewelry would make any t-shirt look AMAZING! It takes one piece of jewelry to make an outfit POP! This one does it for sure. I love the added pearl on the necklace. It adds texture and compliments the locket. Thanks for introducing this line to me.
I’d wear it with just about anything! Skinny jeans, white t, black cashmere sweater, and leopard flats. Perfect.
Love it. I’d pretty much wear it with any top in my wardrobe, including a white crew-neck tee.
I’d wear it with my cocktail dress to my daughter’s sr. recognition ceremony. Then I’d wear it with jeans, a tee, and a blazer. Thanks for sharing the info on this company.
It is just loveley! I would pair it with a v-neck tee or sweater with jeans. My friend’s precious 12 year old son Collins, passed away about 7 weeks ago from a brain tumor. The family is becoming involved in raising awareness of pediatric brain tumors. I can’t even begin to imagine the loss of one of my children. Just knowing that a portion of the proceeds is donated to the foundation to find a cure makes me want to purchase one even more. :)
OK, I love her stuff! I don’t think I would remove this necklace for the first 5 years of owning it.
So, I think it is safe to say that I would style it with my jeans, then night gown, robe and my workout gear (I’ll just have to stick to the stationary bike for a while :-)
Thanks for the opportunity!
Love this locket! I would love to put a picture of my twin girls in the locket and wear it to the KY Derby:)
Would love the 33″ Graham necklace with azalea locket to wear to my kids’ college graduation in May. Have an adorable baby picture of them to put in it. Looking for the perfect white shirt and black capris for an afternoon ceremony. Reverse side of locket for the baby of the family…funny how there’s not as many pics of the last child..
I can’t think of an occasion I wouldn’t wear this to! As I’ve gotten older, I definitely have gravitated toward beautiful jewelry that is also meaningful; after all, you’re wearing it next to your heart! Many blessings to Elizabeth Adams as she exemplifies the grace of His strength made powerful in weakness.
I love this jewelry! So special and beautiful! It would look great with a classic white blouse.
Sally
Wow, what an incredible piece. I would most enjoy wearing the Ellie with Azalea locket to my aunt’s house for Easter Sunday! It would be so pretty. I think I would enjoy wearing it just about anywhere, actually! :)
