Today’s giveaway is a whopping $200 gift certificate from new sponsor, Tea, a colorful clothing line based in sunny San Francisco.
Tea has a passion for exploring different cultures and bases each of their collections from their travels around the world. Say hello to their 2012 spring line, inspired by their recent trip to Bali.
Along their journey, Tea designers were enamored with Bali’s dance, music, painting, woodworking, and jewelry making, as well as the island’s rich ikat and batik textiles. This line is a modern interpretation on traditional Indonesian patterns and Balinese rituals.
If you’re like me and can’t decide which pieces you like best, Tea offers these precious wardrobe sets for around $125. For the girls I like the 6 piece Magnolia Batik set and for the boys the 5 piece Tiger Jungle set.
A few of my faves on their site:
The Dharma dress for playtime. Only 39 buckaroos.
And these clever kicks called Sanuk Limelight Sandals. Hello, sassy.
How about some art to go with those sparkly sneaks? I love portable creativity.
Tea recently launched their women’s collection in that same easy-going, culturally connected spirit. I’m digging this ikat tunic…
THE GIVEAWAY:
A $200 Tea shopping spree which will get you loads of goodies in either their children, baby or women’s clothing line, sale section, arts and crafts, shoes and more. Someone’s going to have a blast!
HOW TO WIN:
Tell us the most exotic place you’ve traveled or hope to visit someday!
Winner announced Sunday.
. . . . .
On a sidenote, I discovered this really cool journey of photos Tea shares from each of their destinations (Japan, Old World Hungary, Mexico, Norway, West Africa and more). The Norway pics were one my favorites. Look at this amazing church they found. The architecture against the mountaintops is breath-taking. Imagine the history there…
And I’ll leave you with this image from their trip to Catalonia.
Hmmm, I wonder if they need two parents and four super cute kiddos to go with them on their next shoot afar??
Happy Friday, friends!!

My daughter would love those sparkly shoes! Thailand….I have been there twice and they have the most beautiful beaches
Good morning from L.A.!
Having lived around the world and visited various countries, the most wonderful had to be Tokyo and Kyoto. The history that surrounds you with every step you take is amazing! returning home to the US makes you realize how young we really are. Japan is a country steeped in tradition and appreciative of family values. It was a wonderful place to live with our children, and though we lived through the tragic tsunami and earthquake of March 11th, we cannot wait to go back for an extended stay! Enjoy your weekend…
Warmly,
Elizabeth
No kiddos for me yet, but I have a sweet little niece that would look adorable in all of those clothes!! I bet I could find some for myself too :) And I would love, love, love to go to Greece someday!!!
The most exotic place I’ve been is Maui.
Most exotic place would be China. What a great site and I have been sending you sparkly thoughts!
pve
Oh, that’s a fantastic giveaway! I haven’t been anywhere too exotic (Caymen Islands– maybe?) but I am leaving on a whirlwind trip to Italy in 6 days! No kids– just me and my husband :)
What an amazing giveaway…I love Tea! Probably the most exotic place I’ve visited is Kenya when I was a kid!
Most exotic – Bora Bora. It was incredibly relaxing! Want to go back so bad.
As far as Tea clothing – I absolutely love it. I have a 14 month old and she looks precious in her little dresses – not too frilly but still super cute.
most exotic place i’ve been to? it would have to be the caribbean with my hubby on a cruise. we hit st. maarten and st. thomas…..my two favorite islands ever. i loved seeing the old world countries in the “new world” islands. it took my breath away and took me back in time.
LOVE these pieces and would love to win!!! The most exotic place I’ve visited is Mexico. I’ve been there twice and it’s so beautiful. Now they say it’s not safe to travel there, and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to visit when I did.
I haven’t traveled much, but I’d love to see Australia someday and hold a koala bear! I am obsessed with Tea for my little girl. Awesome giveaway!
Wow…I love Tea. My daughter has a few dresses and they are just darling. I would love to go to Hawaii some day…hint hint to my husband.
The clothes are precious and the “white” photos dreamy. I’ve been following ikat patterns for a good while and, also, love their use in the design world.
The clothes make me wish the girls were little again. Have a great weekend!
Oh dear! I have not really been to “exotic” places as I am afraid of flying. I would have to say St. Lucia or Antigua were the most exotic locales. But I sure would love to go to Bora Bora someday! I LOVE Tea clothing. I buy my daughter a few pieces each year and they look so good one her.
I can’t say that I have ever been anywhere very exotic, but I think that my kids would have a great time wearing Tea’s great line as they explore Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in May. Their clothes breathe so well when it is warmer out.
sadly I have traveled quite a bit but wouldn’t describe the destinations as exotic per se. My favorite places have been Capri, Maui, and Munich although I FULLY INTEND on spending a week in Tahiti sooner rather than later. My girls NEED a wardrobe update and Tea is one of my favs!!!
My husband and I honeymooned in Aruba. It was fabulous and I’d love to be there right now! Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!!
The sad thing is I have never been anywhere that would be considered exotic! I have high hopes that someday my husband and I will take a very long and overdue honeymoon and just travel the world. I would love to go to Greese, Italy, France, UK, Irland and of course lots of warm and sunny beaches!
Not exactly exotic but I loved exploring Budapest! Thanks for the chance to win the Tea loot, we love their stuff!
Most exotic for my was a special trip to Bueno Aires. Loved it, but sure would love to travel to Thailand…I hear the people are just amazing. Thanks for the great chance!
Prague isn’t the most exotic (as in tropical) place in the world, but I feel it is one of the most beautiful.
When I was in high school, I lived in Hong Kong with my parents. It was cool to live there, but the best part was being close to tons of amazing exotic locales for vacation and school trips. Bali is amazing. I also loved visiting Thailand, Vietnam and Nepal. More recently, in my adult life, my husband and I went to New Delhi a few years back for a wedding. India is a place I want to return to very soon. Just incredible. I would LOVE some Tea Collection stuff for my twin toddlers who currently keep us close to home.
The most exotic place i’ve been was Kaui, HI on my honeymoon. We kayked the river and hiked to the ruins that lead to one of the most beautiful waterfalls i’ve ever seen. I was however, quite shocked to see roosters everywhere.
I love the women’s tunics and necklaces – so pretty! My exotic vacation dream is to take a train ride through Russia (in the summer, of course!).
I have a long list of places that I want to visit some day. Some exotic, some not so much. Paris is first on my list and I would love to go to Kenya and go on safari some day. Most of our travel thus far has been in the U.S. I did go on two separate windjammer cruises in the Bahamas when I was a teenager. Does that count as exotic? I love Tea and their clothing. My daughter would love their clothes and I would love that Ikat tunic!
The most exotic place I have visited was the Dominican Republic. My husband and I spent a week there after we got married. I have a feeling we won’t be going anywhere exotic for quite some time since we have 5 little ones at home. Love the Tea Collection – Have a family pic coming up and was thinking of picking out an outfit for kids…couldn’t come at a better time.
I love the tea collection! My daughter has several outfits from them- what a great new sponsor!
When I was a teenager I got to travel to Costa Rica and fell in love with the sun, the sand and mountains!
Thanks for introducing me to this fabulous line! Loving all the darling items for the wee bits! So cute!
I would love to visit Australia some day, I follow several Aussie blogs and it looks like a delightful place!
With almost 4 kids I would love some quality clothes!!! I haven’t been anywhere exotic but I would love to go just about anywhere!!
Love their lines! I think several of my nieces and nephews would look fabulous in their pieces!
My “Someday” list has Morocco in the number one spot. All the color, smells, tastes and adventures that I can imagine happening there have had me enamored for years!
The most exotic place I’ve ever been is the Hawaiian island of Oahu. I loved every second of it & would love to go back someday to explore Maui.
These are fantastic! I am excited that they are a new sponsor! The most exotic place I have visited is probably fiji, but we have also lived in Hawaii, Guam, Australia, and Germany. Not too bad if you ask me! Next on my list (although I wouldn’t call it exotic) is to visit Scotland.
I loved touring Costa Rica!
Love Tea clothes for my daughter! Not sure if it qualifies as exotic but I thought Switzerland was gorgeous!
I love the Cinque Terre region of Italy but I’m blessed to live on the west coast of Florida and that’s pretty exotic.
Oh!!! SOOO love Tea…My Little Guy is 13 months and would look so precious in their new collection this summer! My most exotic trip was to St John (USVI) several years ago (absolutely beautiful!). I was then sick for 3 years with UC and had my 1st baby, so I hope to travel with my new little family now that I’m healthy again!
Kauai is the most exotic i have gotten, but I’ll take it since it’s one of my favorite places. We love Tea Clothing, great quality and design.
Kenya on a mission trip, Israel on vacation and Belize on my honeymoon!
I could certainly put that $200 to good use. Tea collection is one of my most favorite line for kiddos.
Hands down Lake Como, Italy is the most magical place I’ve ever visited. We hiked (with me in a dress… hubby forgot to tell me hiking was on the itinerary) to a castle on Varenna. That was magical.
Thanks for the giveaway.
An African safari is on my bucket list.
We do love Tea clothes around our house. Thanks! As for travel, china for three weeks. It was magical.
Hmmm….the most exotic place I have ever been was northern Michigan…anyone who has ever been knows it’s a world of its own…haha. The locals call it God’s Country. ;)

Ever since I saw the movie Mamma Mia, I have been dying to visit the island where it was filmed! Until I win the lottery, I could just use the $200 to get an outfit that makes me feel as though I’m there…
My visit this past fall to the tiny Alaskan village Ninilchick was the most exotic I have ever had. The village is nestled at the base of a high rocky plain and displays the Russian influence in Alaska. Just walking paths and nothing out of plastic or anything other than natural materials. No signs, or any sign of modernity. The tiny houses and the church spire looked as though they were on the Volga. It was magic.
My dream exotic trip would be to Bora Bora – it looks like the most beautiful place on earth!
Oh, I just love Tea, so I have to enter this give away! We love the Caribbean and have been there a bunch of times. I guess the most ‘exotic’ island we visited was Anguilla. We actually got married there! We are also visiting Hawaii in a couple of months and I hear that is exotic… Can’t wait to experience Hawaii and taste their delicious food!
What an amazing giveaway! The most exotic place I have traveled to is Vietnam. The beaches were beautiful but the food caused me to dash to the bathroom a few times! Overall an amazing trip! The most exotic place I would like to travel to that I haven’t yet been able to is Romania. I don’t know if it is considered exotic but it is far away and not a super popular tourist destination. I think the language is beautiful, my sister and I are trying to teach ourselves Romanian and have plans to travel there and volunteer in orphanages. I would also like to serve a humanitarian mission there through my church. I don’t know why specifically Romania calls to me, but it does!
My hubby and I spent a fabulous week in Kona in March 2010, and I’d love to go back sometime! Of course, I’d also love to score some new Tea goodies with this shopping spree :-)!
I love the tropics. Ive been to Cancun, Jamaica, Bermuda, Bahamas…now I’d like to go somewhere off the beaten path like Bali or Fiji or even “on the beaten path ” of Hawaii- never been! Thanks for introducing TEA!

I absolutely love Tea! What a fantastic giveaway. The most exotic (and rather obscure) country I’ve visited is Suriname, a tiny country in South America. It’s name translates to ‘home of various cultures’ and it’s just that- in addition to it’s rain forest, jungle, coast… it’s simply amazing!
What a fun stylish clothing company! One of our family’s favorite spots is right there at the end of your post. We loved staying in romantic Cadaques, Spain just south of the French border in Catalonia.
Me and my husband went to Panama for our honeymoon and had such a great time! (We are acutally looking at real estate there right now we loved it so much!!!) All of Tea’s clothes look so comfy…perfect for beach house hunting!!! :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I haven’t been anywhere I would consider exotic, but I am hoping to travel to africa one day soon!
I’ve been to Krabi, Thailand….best vacation spot hands down. White sands, clear water, great weather, $3 massages per HOUR, cheap food, great shopping…how can you resist?
I visited a buddhist temple in the mountains of Kyoto, Japan. So exotic and meditating. Beautiful moss was everywhere. I would love to have my 6 yr. old try out some of the Tea outfits.

What a lovely collection of clothing! When I was in my 20′s I sailed with 6 guys from San Francisco all the way to Tahiti. It took us a little over a month…the scary part….going through pirate waters and having pirates board our boat. It was quite the experience. One day soon I would love to visit Cambodia.
I’ve been so some pretty exotic places in Haiti- but I would loooove to visit Figi someday for a more luxurious vaca!
Beautiful! I can’t say I’ve been anywhere exotic, but we’d like to do some traveling with our children when they’re older… Thanks!
The most exotic place I’ve ever visited is the Cook Islands in the South Pacific!
PS: I LOVE Tea Collection!
We love to travel to Kauai and Costa Rica often and I find that they are both exotic and amazing places. I hope to get to Bali and New Zealand as well!! Dreaming of a bungalow over the water!
Oh, I absolutely love Tea! Thank you so so much for the chance to win!
The most exotic place I’ve ever been is probably Hawaii…but I was only 8, sooooo…does that still count? OH! Maybe the French Riviera??? I was in high school, but old enough to appreciate it’s beauty…;)
We have lived all over the world, each place and it’s people were unique and very special. My favorite home away from home will always be Scotland!
Such a charming collection of clothing. Thank you for sharing.
Great products! The most exotic place I’ve been is Turkey; the ancient city of Ephesus and its ruins are amazing!
Cute clothes. I have been on a few Carribean cruises and have been to Hawaii three times. I believe I loved Maui the best.
I love Tea. I think this is my favorite line from them so far since the most exotic place I have been to is Bali! I went there 10 years ago with my husband before our first child was born. I am a scared flyer so I don’t think I will want to fly that far again. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I look at pictures and can’t believe I was really there!
bali, india, turkey, morocco, china, africa….. the list is exhaustive. the world is a big, beautiful and exotic place.
I lived in Hawaii for 2 yrs, many yrs ago but my favorite place I’ve been is Stockholm, Sweden. Not exotic but so much history and what a beautiful city. I love Tea Collection. I’ve bought dresses from them for my granddaughters.

Bora Bora is the most exotic place I hope to go, and hopefully it will be for my honeymoon!! **fingers crossed** :)
Does being from Australia count?? :) I guess the most adventurous we got was moving from Australia to Texas – LOL! Remote beaches in Western Australia are spectacular, as is the beautiful red desert in the middle of Australia – we called Alice Springs home for 4 years and would move back in a heart beat! Something about that red earth that gets into your blood. The Tea Collection is beautiful – we already have a few pieces from previous years – excellent excellent quality and so pretty. Love them! Thanks for the chance to add more :)
Love some Tea!! I have some that all three of my boys have worn that I’m having a hard time parting with. The most exotic place I’ve ever been is Bali – we stayed inland and on the beach – a beatufiful place.

I haven’t been anywhere too exotic, but the beaches of Southern Italy were gorgeous! Very cute clothes :)
The most exotic place I’ve visited was Volubilis, Morocco. Casa Blanca it’s not, but terrific Roman ruins. That was before a three year old boy took over my life. How I’d love for either him or me to sport a Tea outfit as we’re kicking around our local stomping grounds–”Here’s looking at you kid!”
My most exotic place is Paris. The sights, the food and the people were such a joy to my husband and I. I knew I would have a great time in Paris but I really had an amazing time!
I’ve been to Southern France and Nevis which were both beautiful, but that’s about it for exotic places. I’d love to do more traveling in the Caribbean and maybe tour northern Europe.
My most memorable trip was when I was 9, my father sent me to his village in Greece, alone! Imagine taking a flight to Greece, when I arrived my realatives picked me up, they didnt know english, I didnt speak Greek very well at all. I was there for 6 weeks, in the mountainous village with cobblestone roads, adorable shops and every morning my aunt would open my bedroom window, below there was a bakery and I can still smell the bread baking like it was yesterday, 41 years ago! Its my favorite memory still. My wish list is Denmark, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Cannes, St Tropez, Budapest to name a few! Bali and some other exotic trips too..Love the Tea catalogue!
The Karen Hilltribe of Northern Thailand. I spent Easter there years ago and the memory of those simple, kind, gracious people has stayed with me ever since. Although they had no running water, electricity or roads, they were one of the most hospitable and happy people I have ever met. I attended a small church service where the local women sung beautiful hymns in acapella. Surrounded by the morning mist, mountains and crisp cool air, I think about that day every Easter as I sit in church surrounded by today’s modern conveniences.
P.s. LOVE LOVE LOVE the clothes!!
Most exotic place I dream of: Easter Island. My niece would look great in those sparkly shoes! This line is wonderful and oh so, exotic!

Oh I just love this company!!!
My heart is in Bermuda!! Just love it there!
Tea is so adorable! Positano , Italy .love
When I think “exotic” I think of tropical place or also places like India or Turkey. While I love to travel, I’m not really a beachy person…I stick to cities or mountains in the country. So I don’t think I would say I have been anywhere “exotic”. But I have travelled to Paris twice (once to get married) and it’s my favorite city, so I’ll say Paris. :)
On that note, the Tea brand is one of my favorites. Most of my 1 1/2 year old son’s clothes are Tea brand.
Fiji has been the most amazing place my husband and I have visited. It was before we had children and I would love to visit again so that our children can experience it just as we did. Not only is it naturally beautiful, but the people are incredibly kind. They live a simple life and are genuinely happy – so full of life!
I spent one summer in Japan visiting cities and the countryside. It was beautiful and exotic–a truly priceless experience.

It is my dream to visit the Seychelles islands! …maybe a honeymoon destination one day?!
We took a long-anticipated trip last year to Istanbul, Turkey… with our 11 month old son. Crazy! But wonderful. We had a great time, and we hope to take our growing family on many more adventures in the future. First, though, we’re dreaming about an adults-only trip to Italy.
Our dear friends are taking their children to South Africa in a house swap next December. They will pull them out of school for 2 months and we are doing our best to try to also go and meet up with them and take all 6 children on a safari! We will see if we can make it happen! The house swap idea is a great one!

most exotic place i’ve been to is Nevis. It’s gorgeous but simple. can’t wait to go back
bora bora!!
Ava would love these sparkly flats too cute!!
My favorite place I have been is up in the Himalayan mountains in Northern India. After taking a 8 hour train ride and 3 hour car ride up into the ridges of the mountains, I was greeted by a view to make your heart skip a few beats. Sitting on a bench outside my hotel in the early morning, I was able to watch the fog rise over the mountains as singing from a local convent tickled my ears. The experience was unforgettable and life-changing, helping me realize that the simple things are so beautiful, if I choose to embrace and fully experience them.
The TEA collection reminds me of so many of my travels and allows me to reminisce while enjoying my children.
Thailand, went before we had kids, but I cant wait to take tha family!

Egypt is not only a unique and beautiful land but so are its people.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, but raised in the south as a true southerner, I would love to travel back to Korea!
the most exotic place was probably barbados…i loved that you could experience the rocky coastline & crashing waves of the Atlantic on the east coast and just a little drive to the peaceful Caribbean on the west coast!
Adorable clothes!!!! The most exotic place I have been to is Brazil. I would love to go to Bora Bora one day and be on an island in the middle of nowhere (preferably in a hut over the water!).
