This horse girl has been galloping at full speed to get her family back on track after vacay. Pictures coming soon, promise.
Although I’m busy playing catch up, I feel so much more relaxed after traveling…which is kind of crazy when I think of what all we did in seven short days. Don’t you feel so much more peaceful after you explore and get out of your day to day routine? I always feel so free and full of inspiration. That being said, thought I would share some restful pics for the middle of your week.
White plate groupings make me buckle at the knees…
As do dutch doors. This scene is glorious. And complete with a happy pooch!!
Oh hi there, perfect bathroom.
I’ve been working on a big design project, so lights and finishes are fresh on my mind. I nudged my client to consider lanterns for her kitchen…
But we ended up going a different direction. While searching through what seemed like thousands of lighting selections, I ran across this guy who is a nice price. If you’re on a tight budget but would still like to create the look similar to the pic above, two of these could be super cute hanging over a table or island.

Lovely! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love that first photo of the swishing tail and hoofs.
I too love escapes and then love coming home.
Fabulous images and egyptian white sheets are en route from overstock….

Hey Seleta… I would love to have that shower! The horse is beautiful too ~ the tail is amazing. Is he/she yours? XoXo
Thank you for this! I am in the middle of a move and remodel on a historic home in a new state. Next on my hunting list were three lanterns for our main floor hallway. I receive your posts on my email and when I checked my email, you had done the work for me. Thank you thank you! Love all the photos today….
Oh my goodness–that hallway pendant light is to die for! When I was doing my hallway, I searched high and low for something like that and came up with nothing. Any idea where it came from?
Elizabeth, I linked to the pendant. Just click on the words that are highlighted in green : )

Katie,
That first image is not my horse, but I agree it is an amazing shot : ) My horse is a dark bay mare with black mane.

Can you please tell me where I can find those woven lights in the forth picture? love them!
Hi Seleta! Love the old plate groupings, and the perfect bath. Thanks for sharing the idea and inspiration.
Hi,
I also was wondering where those pendants (in the double dutch door pic) are from? I love them and could really use them. I saw where you said you hyperlinked them but I don’t see that? Would you mind posting?
Thank you :)
Hi Seleta! I recently discovered your blog and I find it awesome! And found great ideas now that I’m remodeling my future husband’s appartment. Greetings from Greece!
If you love white plates, then you would love milkglass. My mom, sisters, friends, and I are addicted. I love the fact that you could find one or two in thrift stores, antique shops, estate sales, etc… Such a wonderful surprise to see a matching piece to a pattern you already have.
Kim, that image is from my house and the pendants are from Uttermost. I hope this helps. Thanks so much Seleta for the shout out!
XO,
René
Thank you for sharing, René! I will credit the photo and design to your site. Love the plates!

Love the kitchen photo. The window is it painted wood inside or metal frame?
