Coming up for air. Wow what a week. These last three days have felt like three dog years or something. Here is a space that relaxes my soul.
And speaking of soul, we all know life isn’t perfect. I think part of enjoying the journey is finding peace with things that aren’t in our control. Easier said than done, right? I’m getting a big fat lesson in that right now with a few things. I needed a boost, so I searched for some true inspiration. Loved this gentle reminder and wanted to share.
Yep.
Whew, trust. That’s a biggie. I’m working on it!!
Sending you happy thoughts and warm wishes for your Wednesday : )

Funny, I just copied that verse into my notebook this morning! It struck me as very appropriate at the moment. So glad it helped you too. That’s such a lovely room. I could curl up on that daybed and take a nap!
amen!
now how in the heck did you know this was just what I needed.

Do you have the daily devotional or I also use the Iphone app for “Jesus Calling, Enjoying Peace in His Presence” by Sarah Young? It is a wonderful daily inspiration that I have needed and used ALOT lately, always on target for the boost that I am needing for the day, Todays reminder was that our dose of peace comes daily like the manna in the wilderness for the Israelites….anyway, I always love your pictures and look forward to Wednesday White!
Love the Wednesday White, love the quote more. Get the Jesus Calling App! #literallychangesyourlife
great verse! it’s come to me here and there, which I take to be God’s reminder to trust in Him.
Sarah Young was my grandmother in law. I never got to meet her, but our little guy’s middle name is Young after her. I need to get a copy of her book….or maybe I’ll just get the app. Thanks, Seleta, for reminding us to trust the Lord in everything.
Knew I was checking your blog today for some reason, Seleta . . . I needed to see your trust passage. Ok. Thanks. I’ll get back in the game now. Oh, and, fabulous room! I love ceiling timbers.
That’s a great verse and very timely for me too. Hope that things are looking up!
Great piece…I agree! I, try so hard and will never give up believing that I understand all.
Wonderful verse and gave me a lot to rethink about.
That is my word this year, trust, and the verse I chose to go along with it is Proverbs 3:5! I love it! It’s such a good reminder when things get tough, what comforting words! Love the calming white room! Sending warm and happy thoughts back to you:)

That verse covers so much of my life and that room covets my eyes. Now I need to look up the verse for that! : )

May the goodness of God pass before you today.

I needed this today, too. It’s been one of those weeks for a lot of us. Hope the rest of your week goes a little better for you, Seleta. Take care!
I love the coffee table! Would love to know where it came from. Thanks!
I do love that verse too and I work on it constantly. Trust is tough for me too. Maybe for all of us?
I LOVE the room you have pictured here. Do you have a source for the image? I would love to know the designer or see more of the home. It is beautiful. I LOVE it so much and I tried to pin it but could not.
Had a heck of a weekend too. My oldest girl had a terrible sick bug that’s left her completely wiped. I tried to keep too many plates spinning and didn’t quite manage.
“finding peace with things that aren’t in our control.” really struck home.
Thank you for your wise words.
and the room…if only eh?
