Speaking of horses, I feel in love with a gorgeous silk horse scarf from from A. Barclay.

I have a weakness for scarves with big color and pattern.  And if it’s silk or linen?  Done.  I think I’m drawn to scarves because they offer so much versatility….and if the style is classic enough, you can keep it forever.  I’ll be passing this horsey on to my girls, I’m sure.

I counted 15 different styles and colors over at A. Barclay.  And honestly had a really hard time choosing which one.  A few others I loved:

The turquoise and white chevron was amazing.  It also comes in grey and light blue.  Yum.

Grey and green Zebra?  Omm, yes please.

Love how they can all be worn super big or just around the neck.  Think I’d like to wear mine like this. Perfect for Boston next summer!

They have so many creative ways to wear their scarves.  Even more pics on their FB page.

A. Barclay owner and designer, Anna Barclay Sibley, is a Southern girl after my own heart.  She’s originally from Alabama, earned an Art History degree at Rhodes College, then did a fashion stint in New York.  Now she lives in Atlanta.  Maybe I can talk her into giving us a how-to-tie-a-scarf tutorial??

Here  is Anna wearing her turquoise and white chevron scarf on a recent trip to Nantucket.  Love her!!

I just read that for every scarf purchased, A. Barclay purchases an item of need for the Tanzanian orphanages.  Amazing.

Go check out A. Barclay and be inspired.

Pretty. How many different ways can you wear scarfs? They are very practical and can be used for so many different looks. I know some can even be turned into dresses.
