Gearing up for a fun Thanksgiving dinner in our home with extended family next week. We have family coming in from Colorado, Texas and Georgia…there will be 20 of us. So excited to cook with cousins and enjoy family togetherness!
As I started gathering images for styling (some people look for recipe ideas, I look for styling ideas), I spotted an adorable free printable collection for hosting Thanksgiving dinner.
Love love love the banner all in white. The free printable is from this blog and includes a menu, invitation, place cards, banner pieces, and much much more. She also designed adorable labels to put on take-out boxes for guests. How many of us would love to take home a slice of grandma’s homemade pumpkin pie or serving of turkey and dressing?
You can pick and choose whatever you would like from this free printable collection right over here.
On a personal note, Peter’s cousin, Lolly and her two daughters will be part of our group next week. They’re staying with us…and our kids are literally counting down the days until they’re here! Lolly is a talented cook and promised to help me because I am VERY
impaired in the kitchen intimidated when it comes to cooking for a big group. We made a deal: I would plan the styling and she would plan the menu. I’ll be her handy assistant in the kitchen ; ) Excited because our daughters will help do the cooking too. Here is Lolly last summer when she and her family came down for a visit.
And of course, all the kids. It’s never possible to get adults and kids in the same shot.
So excited to see everyone again! I’m going to try and get a few of Lolly’s recipes together to share with you for next year. She’s got some great menu items planned.
Meanwhile, I plan to share with your some other styling ideas. Keep your eyes open on Monday….I’ll be posting our annual Thanksgiving table Style Session with friend Paige of Tracery Interiors!
