I’ve been helping a friend renovate her newly purchased cottage in North Atlanta. New kitchen sink and faucet, appliances, different cabinet colors, the works. She’s downsizing to a space much smaller than what she’s used to, so one of her challenges is finding clever storage for certain small-scale rooms. I love storing everyday things in an unexpected yet pretty way. When it comes to creative storage, there are no limits! Last week I shared with my friend two adorable storage carts that I am currently loving.
You’ve probably seen the IKEA RÅSKOG Trolley. Like a million times. I know it’s been blogged to death, but how can you not love a stylish little cart in such a sassy blue? I would probably spend more money buying pretty things to go in it than the cart itself!
And have you seen this gem? It’s the Jayden Metal Shelf from over here. Comes in two sizes. Love the industrial feel.
I could see the Jayden in a bathroom holding all kinds of fun hair product and make-up in the first two tiers, and hair dryers, etc. in the bottom tier.
It would also be adorable as a make-shift drink cart tucked the corner of a small dining area. Beverages, napkins and ice bucket on the top tier, glasses on the second two or three tiers. A similar aesthetic to this set-up…
A few more organizing shots to inspire some everyday organizing for your week : )

I have never seen the IKEA cart, so thank you for sharing! Your blog is the only “lifestyle” blog I follow. We just moved into a new house so I feel like my entire home needs organizing.
I love ogling organized spaces. These are so pretty! I have several areas that need help. I had not (surprise!) seen either of those two carts…now I will be looking for them!
Lovely inspiration as always!! I have been decluttering slowly for a couple weeks now and I feel like I haven’t made any progress, and I am definitely not a pack rat…except I might have a fabric hoarding problem. I can’t help myself! :) I’m thinking the Jayden cart would make a cute craft and fabric storage…hmmm.:) Thank you for the ideas!
we’re moving into a townhouse (from a regular house), so…i sort of need organizing help everywhere!! these are some really cute ideas :) you’re more than welcome to come decorate/organize my whole house!!! ;)
Great inspiration! I love following your refreshing blog…
Jaclyn, I bet your would love the IKEA trolley in your new space…and thank you for such generous words : )
Lori, glad these are newbies to you – they are both awesome.
Kate, great idea about a craft station. And I can certainly relate to fabric hoarding as mine is a serious problem, ha!
Yourstrulydear, I bet you’d love one of those carts for your townhouse.
Mary Lise, thank you!

Well, I am going to join Jaclyn and tell you that I haven’t seen the IKEA cart before. Thanks for sharing! Great color…I can imagine all sorts of uses. I also like the more industrial version you shared. On my way over to check out dimensions…
I think this little cart could be a great addition to a small home office. Thanks for the tip Seleta.
