wednesday white

Some pretties for your day.  Starting with a peek from this home inside Domino’s newest issue…oh yes, Domino is back!

A lovely table setting from this wedding in Tuscany.

Reminder that denim and white truly is always a fun, go-to look for fall.

Some fresh, white, fall decor for your mantle.  Love this.

On a personal note, the flu hit our youngest child yesterday, so I’m operating at half speed.  It was strange how it hit – an all-over body rash (even his face) that gave us quite a fright.  We took him to the pediatrician who sent us straight to the hospital for blood work.  Hospitals and needles are the two things that send me into a  state of sheer terror…naturally, my weepy patient wanted me to hold him during the procedure….so I had to simulate strength and bravery.  My best acting job yet.  Ahhhhh, parenthood.  He was a brave boy and did very well!  Today the rash is gone but he sporting a high fever.  Just wanted to share these symptoms in case any of you experience this with your little one.  That way you don’t panic over a rash like I did.  The rash appears to be the onset of a virus.

Thanks for your patience with posts.  Back soon.

I hope you little one get better soon. My little girl had the same thing – it started with stomach pain, then slight blotchy rash (very slight), then high fever for days, plus sore throat. Throat so sore she didn’t speak for 3 days! She is my chatterbox, so this was very distressing for me! And so tired, she would be fine, then fall asleep within seconds. Weird virus this one. Hope your little one gets over it quickly. My eldest got over it in 2 days. Praying for you.

Rashes are so scary! It is so hard to be brave, but you have great instincts. Hope he’s over it soon.

OMG…..So glad Domino is back!!! Thanks for the news flash.

Thank you, friends. He is much perkier this morning!

Leslie and Kathryn thanks for sharing that you experienced something similar. I’ve never seen a virus begin with a rash, so this was a new (and somewhat scary) situation for us.

    Well wishes to all. xo
