wednesday white cozy-up

One of my younger ones is under the weather today with a high fever, so I’ve been busy tending to her. I hope you’ll humor my winter posts romanticizing all things cozy.  A kettle of hot tea, soft blankets, and a cozy fire goes a long way.  We cherish our fireside moments as much as possible before the hot weather reappears.

A lovely living room set-up for tea by the fire would include a few key ingredients.  Starting with this brass butler tray, which could also stunt double as a beverage station of sorts.

And a proper english teapot.

I discovered this tropical hibiscus tea last night while having dinner with friends.  So tasty.  And no caffeine so as not to disturb beauty sleep.

I will email our four deja vu winners later this evening.

  2. I love a cozy fire, blankets, candles and tea. It’s a one-of-a-kind pleasure only experienced in the winter months.

Silly, but one of my favorite memories is being home sick with just me and Mom.

Me too Carolyn. I was reminiscing just this morning. Hope she feels better soon, Seleta.
