Thinking about pretty, organized spaces today and reminding myself that simple is best. A little bit of white paint and a well-planned nook can go a long way.
In my home, the trim and horizontal boarding color is painted Soft Chamois by Benjamin Moore. It’s not a bright white like the space above, but more of a not-quite-cream off white. How’s that for a professional description? It’s beautiful with neutrals or bright colors. You can see shots of my home on my pinterest page here.
Back to organized spaces. When it comes to crafting, it’s funny because I always go back to the basics. My favorite craft materials to work with are twine, packing paper, and an accent of stripes or something metallic. Love this little wrapping station. The paint color here looks similar to Benjamin Moore’s Tapestry Beige, another one of my faves.
I have yet to create a wrapping or craft station in my home, but it’s on the to-do list!
At this point I’m wondering if the soonest I’ll be able to design a craft station after the kids are grown, ha. Although after seeing this sassy craft closet, it has me thinking there might be hope for me to create one one sooner than later! Read all about it here.
Love this detail. Again, it seems so doable.
One of the best ways to affordably add a graphic element to any work/craft space is by using pegboard. It’s so crisp and clean when painted. I can’t wait to do this someday. In my dreams I imagine tools hanging in a straight line.
Today is a little more packed than usual. Had to take one of the kids to a morning doctor appointment, now I’m off to track, ballet and then horses. Only two days until the weekend. Woot woot!
