Today’s burst of spring weather has me inspired to start organizing a few key areas in our home. Here are some images that make me want to get a move on.
Baskets are an amazing way to catch clutter and add style and texture to a small area. Design tip: for visual continuity, keep any baskets you place next to each other either in the same pattern or same pattern in different sizes.
Shelves make life wonderful.
These appear to be the shelves pictured above. You can’t beat the price of anything from IKEA. Somehow they have cracked the code on how to crank out modern styled goods which fit even the smallest of budgets.
We installed these white shelves by IKEA in our last rental house. They’re currently packed up in boxes but I think it’s time to reuse them in one of our kids’ rooms for books and toys. Shelves make a kid’s room much more manageable. From what I remember, these mount easily and are quite sturdy.
If I had a closet like this ANYWHERE in my home I would probably clean way more than I do now. My cleaning closet makes me want to crawl into a corner and hide. Which reminds me, did you see Jenny’s new cleaning closet she revealed last month?? You won’t believe it. Pops and color and so organized. You can check it out here.
What room do you plan to hit first for spring organizing?
