wednesday white farmhouse

From my farm files.  Love it all.  Farmhouses have such a pure feel to them, everything is so timeless and simple.  One day I hope to build a classic farmhouse.  Even if all we have are chickens, a bunny, and a horse.  I think that would be plenty for me!

Love this paisley bench.  It is a FOREVER piece.

And how about these pendants and all the rustic finishes.  Pure classic.

Every farmhouse needs a little gate leading to rolling hills and daffodils.

I put together an inspiration board for an elegant farmhouse look.  These are some of my favorite items I hope to have in our next home, so hopefully you can enjoy a few of these finds for yourself!

1.  You can’t go wrong with this affordable and classic pendant light.

2.  Benjamin Moore chantilly lace is a wonderful neutral for an all over color on horizontal boarding.

3.  An extremely budget friendly polished nickel faucet.

4.  These glass knobs in oiled bronze are a nice touch on any cabinet.

5.  A simple white subway tile and dark grout is another finish where you can never go wrong.

6.  And you can never have too many jute baskets hanging around to catch clutter….or chicken eggs!

7.  This is one of my very favorite paisley patterns.

8.  How adorable is this anchor hook – perfect in a hallway coming off the back door.

Seleta, thanks for the tips. I live on a very “horsey” rural road in New England, and just reprinted all my wainscoting and trim with Chantilly Lace.

Guess what’s above it? Creamy White, thanks to your paint colour recommendations on Pinterest. It looks fab!
