grey gardens

This post might be a little random – my coffee never kicked in this morning so I’m feeling a little less focused than normal.  Does this ever happen to anyone or have my adrenal glands officially kicked the bucket?

Wanted to give you an update on my flower and boxwood planting attempts.  Yes, I actually planted them…and yes, they have lived for more than 3 weeks now.  Woo hoo!  I think next I’ll attempt to put this little guy in our keeping room.

And you know I’m always decorating our imaginary farmhouse.  Lately I love the idea of using a deep grey somewhere.  Whether it’s in the living room, a study, interior doors, or outside on an adorable potting shed.

My favorite shade of dark grey right now is Dragon’s Breath by Benjamin Moore.  The name kind of makes me think of the term coffee breath, ha.  Except Dragon’s Breath is completely wonderful and doesn’t cause people to back away three feet.

Cheers to caffeine addiction, breath mints, great paint, and plants that live well into old age!
