true blue

On vacay with the fam.  Caught a moment to sneak in a blog post while my kids crack out on electronics before we hit the road to our next destination.  I have less than 30 minutes before heading out, so let’s see if I can beat my record in writing a post!  Look at our Ocala sky yesterday as we drove to snorkel in the springs.  You can’t beat it.

Blue has always been a favorite color, specifically navy.  I’m working with a client in Texas (who also shares my love of navy) and we just painted her master bedroom navy – LOVE it!  She’s quite happy.  Here’s some navy inspiration for your week…

Love this classic necklace.  Great with crisp white and super affordable.

These sea-inspired prints would be gorgeous in a room with navy accents.

This picture below I pinned at the beginning of summer as my “inspiration” for meals in our back yard along the water.  My optimism is comical ; )  I forgot to factor in mosquitoes and our crazy summer schedule.  We didn’t quite make this goal, ha.  Maybe someday I can create a scene like this.

My favorite navy stripe (on a budget) is this guy.

And navy ikat dinnerware?  Love.  I’d do it in a millisecond.

Okay the kiddos are now flocking around me with random questions and comments.  Time to head out to our next vacay spot.   See you you next week!

Really loving the sea inspired prints! Maybe a future post about how to make a collection of prints fit together?? I can never seem to quite get it to look right and not too random!

Love that necklace too! I have a few of those navy ikst pieces from from c. wonder and they are so crisp and really perk up my otherwise blase’ table. So stinking affordable too. Happy and safe vacay.
