We made it to the weekend!  Our camp won’t slow down due to the kids’ demanding schedules, but I’m hoping to take a little time to reflect on the new year and relax when possible.  My head is swirling with things to do, deadlines to meet, and events to book, so some quiet, reflective time is much needed to maintain balance.  I wish the same for you.  Here is some beauty to help get your relaxation process started.

A beautiful tour of Michelle Adams home over here.  Love all the details in every room.  This tour has been around a while, but still inspires me with its classic style.  So funny, almost one year ago to the day I mentioned this exact home in this post with a few fun, affordable sources to create a similar look.

And a beautiful thought for the new year.

Going to borrow this!

The quiet and cold of January inspires a sense of reflection and renewal.  It’s a time of year where I have a strong desire to start fresh, improve our home organization, and instill healthy habits in our day to day activities.  I’m also reminded that no matter how crazy-busy life gets, it’s important to pause and take time to express gratitude for the blessings of the present.

Thank you for your comments on recent posts, I really love the feedback and it inspires me to write and connect more!

Hope you enjoy this holiday weekend : )

Seleta: I absolutely love your post today. You are now my go to blog each day for inspiration to start my mornings.

I have stopped reading every single blog this year as I want off the “how to measure up” face book world. I’m absolutely exhausted reading about anyone with the need to thumbs up like.
Your blog is IT. Just knowing that people like you are still left gives me hope on a jaded day. It’s not about material items, or living on fantasy island. Thank you a million times for your authenticity in a fake book fog.

Hello Shawn and Corelia, thank you so much for the kind and genuine words! Thoughtful of you to take the time to share. Hugs!
